Hey Lovelies!
Though it is a little sad, school has snuck up on us once again... However, that draws us closer to fun and exciting events that are yet to come your way! Whether you’re a new or old member I’d like to welcome you to Sheldon Key Club and thank you for your curiosity that’s brought you here x) I’m excited to share the new school year with you as we embrace what it has in store for us (even the all nighters and emotional breakdowns). But... REMEMBER - Before fun comes hard work! Study and get things done before you give yourself a well-deserved break. ALWAYS drink water and stay hydrated (some advice from a very crusty friend). And NEVER forget that through the hard times I alongside all your fellow members and friends have got your back. So lean on us a little (; Once again, I can’t wait to journey on this last high school adventure with you. Sheldon Key Club has a LOT in store for you as a member and leader, so let’s enjoy it - fainting and all! (Just kidding there will be no fainting) Adventure awaits!
With roaring love for you all,

Hello Monsters of Sheldon Key Club! My name is Velalena Moua, and I’m glad to be serving as your bulletin editor. To those new members, I wanted to quickly inform you all about how my task is to provide you with plenty of key club knowledge, as well as, upcoming service events, and many enjoyable moments from our past events. As you may all know, the new school year has just began, which means we are in store for a new journey with our new members to achieve more service and to raise more funds for our preferred charities. Similar to me, our other board officers have worked hard throughout their term, so far, to provide us all with utmost satisfaction when regarding service events. I hope that new members, including current members could all come together to experience the excitement of doing community work. Bondage of members to us is very important, so we hope to create new friendships and explore a new journey with our members and show them the significance of helping their community.
In monstrous spirit,
Velalena Moua

Why hello there, My name is Travis Lieu and I am a dedicated Sheldon Key Club member. During my Sophomore year, doing community service wasn’t an entirely available option for me, as a result of my academic classes. Summertime allowed me to have an open schedule, and this gave me an opportunity to demonstrate how much one person can do to support their club, school, and community. My summer has felt remarkably different because of my passion for going outside and finding a way to maintain our everlasting community. During the summer, I was able to attend the majority of the events and unfortunately missed a few due to travels or just plain oversleeping. From events in the freezing morning to events that are surprising hot at night, I kept myself devoted to the club. I would go as far to set up three different alarms just to make sure I would wake up on time for an event in the early morning. Before summer ends, I am planning to maintain my constant work ethics and hopefully obtain as many hours, along with an opportunity to improve my positivity in the club.
Kaley Xiong This month my favorite event that i attended was the Kiwanis’ 4th of July breakfast! That morning, Sheldon key clubbers worked alongside other key clubbers in our division to assist in setting up, handing out utensils & plates, cleaning tables, and breaking down later that afternoon. This event was a great opportunity to spend more time with my club members while getting to know and work alongside our fellow Kiwanians too! Overall, this event was unforgettable & super fun being introduced to many others while serving our community!
