Organisation restructure In order to evolve our organisation structure to seize market opportunities and execute our strategy 2.0 priorities effectively, there are a few organisation changes announced recently. Mysore Madhusudhan will assume a new role as the Chairman and Managing Director of TCTS (Tata Communications Transformation Services). Following people will be reporting directly into Madhu:

Aon Best Employers India 2016 The recent recognition as the Best Employer, India 2016 by AON Hewitt comes is an afď€ rmation of our high employee engagement, effective leadership, high performance culture and sound people practices. While the study covered 113 companies across 12 industries, employing around 950,000 employees cumulatively, to be adjudged as the best employer is no mean feat for a company which came into existence just 14 years ago.


Applause recognition programme After being recognised as AON Best Employer India 2016 by AON Hewitt recently, Tata Communications has been presented the 2016 Pioneers of Recognition Trailblazer Award by Globoforce, our recognition partner. The award recognises Tata Communications for embracing new recognition technologies that are changing the face of HR and for adopting the latest innovations as part of our applause employee recognition programme.


TCTS skill portal In TCTS, nesting and nurturing skills has become a vital element to drive organisation success. It is, therefore, imperative to identify skills possessed by employees in entirety, take adequate measures to deploy them appropriately in order to leverage the beneď€ ts and also provide platform for development for future skill requirements. TCTS BUHR team created a nesting skill framework which ties up relevant domain with required skills referred to as TCTS skill inventory. The inventory is basically a catalogue of skills and capabilities possessed by all employees of TCTSL. Employees can capture their skills by logging in to Prism. Tata Volunteering Week 5 Tata Communications clocks 1944 hours of volunteering through 985 volunteers across 10 locations. A total of 1000+ activities were organised in partnership with 400+ organisations across 80 locations in India and abroad. Volunteer participation was maximum in Chennai while Pune emerged tops for clocking the maximum number of hours.


Xpress 2016 results This year we surpassed last year's record with

95%

response rate and our overall engagement score remains very high at

84%

this year. This helps us stay very, very highup in the top quartile of the Aon Hewitt global telecom database and places us among some of the very best companies in our industry. Our ESAT scores also validate our standing as the Best Employer India 2016 – a fantastic recognition which we won for the ď€ rst time recently.

Business buzz With project ASPIRE, TCTS is strategically focusing on named accounts identiď€ ed across prioritized clusters for dedicated efforts. To intensify these efforts, TCTS recently participated in 2016 Bell Network Leadership Conference (BNLC) organised by Bell Canada, one of the focus accounts of TCTS. TCTS was a premier conference sponsor for the BNLC which was organised in Toronto from 12th April to 15th April 2016.

TCTS continues to ourish Tata Communications Transformation Services (TCTS) wins wireless eld services business from Tata Teleservices Ltd. – rapidly expanding wireless services footprint in India. This win stands testimony to the faith, our esteemed customer, TTL has shown in our capabilities and our performance in managing the on-going eld operations for TTL across 8 circles. As part of this deal TCTS will cater to the eld operations for TTL's entire mobility network.


World day for Health and Safety To commemorate the World Day for Safety and Health, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) team at Tata Communications has planned a series of activities including ergonomics awareness sessions in key locations globally starting June 2016.
