Verachtert nv was established as a wholesale business for needlework, embroidery yarns and knitting wool by Mr Jos Verachtert in 1949. The company /quickly started designing needlework kits and painting embroidered cushions as well as Smyrna tapestries. Nowadays the Verachtert Group is a company with more than 300 employees, and it has a business unit in Belgium and Tunisia. The products of the Verachtert Group are distributed in over 60 countries.
