What to specialise in ... INFOGRAPHICS!!! What is an infographic? An infographic is a visual representation of information and data on a specific topic. Rather than reading paragraphs of information and looking a whole bunch of numbers, an infographic will visually make clear and informative points.

Infographic Readers
The infographic audience can be anyone online! As they cover any topic imaginable, infographics can be share socially via Tumblr, bloggs, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter, and for business purposes can be viewed on slideshare, LinkedIn, bloggs or on company websites.
Why Infographics? I may have viewed a few of them online without knowing that they were called anything, but I first became aware of the term “infographic” in my role with Oracle. During my career I’ve held a few positions doing data and reporting analysis, where I’ve created detailed and comprehensive graphs and reports. To combine this experience and my love of graphic design seems like a great fit! Whilst studying my Diploma, I thoroughly enjoyed creating the infographic during the Design Industry subject, where we created a brochure for ADMA outline a graphic designers career path. Combining these skills, is already helping me in my career as I’m currently heading a project at work to change our current reporting to improve the post field event reports in an inforgraphic format and thinking of using either Venngage or Piktochart.
