We have no idea if this is a goodbye, but the truth is that the precarious state of the world economy - as well as the weak leaders of the bodyboarding industry in Europe and Portugal - is giving us a hard time. However, with the very little we had in hand, we seek to do something that represented the real feeling of bodyboarding. Is there a better way than a bodyboarder upside-down in a super heavy wave? In the end consider this issue not just as a goodbye, but rather as a… see you later! Hopefully we’ll be together pretty soon sharing some waves and barrels.
Não sabemos bem se esta será a edição de despedida, mas a verdade é que o estado precário da economia mundial – bem como os fracos de espírito que lideram a indústria do desporto na Europa e em Portugal – está a dar cabo de nós. Quase condenados ao abandono nos últimos anos, assim é muito difícil prever se o futuro será auspicioso. Porém, com o pouco que tínhamos à mão, procurámos algo que representasse, que mos trasse bem o bodyboard. Haverá melhor forma que um bodyboarder de cabeça para baixo numa onda super pesada?

For several weeks the last winter was generous to the Portuguese bodyboarders situated in the country’s North side. As you can notice here, Paulo Valente, one of the standouts around the Espinho waters, is a damn good fine example. O último inverno foi generoso para os bodyboarders portugueses situados a Norte. Que o diga Paulo Valente, um dos atletas de destaque pelas águas de Espinho, que em casa não se coíbe de voar assim.
