Day 1: Arrival in Quito
After the arrival, our guide will welcome and transfer us from the airport to the hotel and accommodation. Overnight in Quito.
Day 2: City Tour and Middle of the World
Visit the Independence Square flanked by the Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, the Municipal Building and the Archbishop’s Palace. Continue to the Church of San Francisco, one of the greatest religious buildings of the New World. Its impressive façade and atrium lead to its gold interior, a Baroque influence by Moorish style, with the winged Virgin of Quito at its main altar. Then we will drive approx. 25 km north of Quito to the Middle of the World. Here at the 30 m tall monument, we will learn about the French-Spanish geodetic expedition of 1736-1744 which determined the position of the Equator. We can stand and have our picture taken with one leg in the northern hemisphere and the other leg in the southern hemisphere of the earth. Overnight in Quito. B /L /-
Day 3: Full day Bomboli cloud forest
This adventure begins very early when our guide will pick you up and take you to this paradise. Our first adventure will be a two hours hike to an ancient ferns forest of indescribable beauty, filled with giant ferns that are the main protagonists of this surreal landscape. On the way, we will enjoy discovering trails surrounded by over 200 species of orchids, begonias and countless other species that grow richly in this area. Our final destination is a small waterfall of about 5 meters in height located in the center of this forest. The vast ecosystem of natural richness and breathtaking beauty is the result of years of care and conservation by the owners. Lunch will be served in the country house.

After lunch, we can choose from one of the recreational activities offered in this place. One is the production of cheese which has been prepared here with dedication for years, resulting a product of excellent quality and taste. Furthermore we can visit the garden where we will see the bold “Bombolí” idea of reuse tires as pots, creating microclimates capable of giving life to sick plants. We’ll also see a large variety of other plant species, such as lettuce, lemon, mint, onion, ear lobes, lemon verbena, lavender, chamomile, lemon balm, leek, red alder, lemon, elderberry, and much more. Before going on with our itinerary, we will have a delicious hot coffee around the fireplace where we can share our experiences and listen to the anecdotes and tales of our hosts. Day 4: Full day Hacienda Activities
This day we will have the oportunity to enjoy the spirit of the Andean Haciendas and their daily works. Visit the grounds and get suited for a horseback riding. Along the way, there will be plentiful breathtaking scenes and great photo opportunities. Return to the Hacienda house and freshen up to enjoy a typical lunch hosted by the Hacienda owner. After lunch, we can just walk around, enjoy the landscape and relax with all this fantastic experience. Dinner will also be served in the Hacienda, we will get ready for our next day trip to Galapagos Islands. B /L /D
Day 5: Transfer Hacienda – Galapagos cruise 4D/3N
After breakfast our guide will take you to the airport to take the local flight Quito –Galapagos.
