The Importance of Seasonal HVAC Maintenance

Routine seasonal maintenance on your HVAC system ensures it works at its most energy-efficient level and performs as expected. This also saves money by revealing potential problems to address before they become emergencies or cause a breakdown.

A routine HVAC check includes changing filters and humidifier pads, ensuring vents aren’t blocked, and checking for rust on metal flue pipes. Additionally, the technician will clear drains, burner tubes and other elements, inspect connections, check the motor and thermostat functionality, monitor refrigerant pressure (air conditioning), test safety controls, and lubricate moving parts.

Don’t wait too far into the season to maintain your HVAC system. It is especially important now to book fall checkup appointments because supply chain disruptions may cause delays in getting needed parts.
