Melissa Cipriano became an attorney to help people. With a keen interest in family law, she established her practice, Cipriano Law Offices, P.C., in 2003. The firm has expanded to include six attorneys and support staff practicing all aspects of family law, including adoption, divorce, custody, and domestic violence restraining orders.

Cipriano Law Offices understand that every family is different, therefore each circumstance requires a uniquely developed solution. The attorneys come to the firm with varying experience. They have strong backgrounds in finance, negotiation, and litigation. Melissa also holds an MBA which gives her insight into business valuations and dissolutions relevant to divorce action. She is also a Parenting Coordinator which affords her the ability to assist families with contentious parenting dynamics. Melissa, along with two attorneys in the firm, are trained in Collaborative Law and are qualified family law mediators

The firm will strategize with clients to establish the most effective and applicable course of action. They work diligently towards settlement with specific attention to clients’ critical needs. While settlement remains the objective, the team is prepared to litigate when parties cannot come agreement. According to Cipriano, “We do whatever is in our client’s best interests.”

Family law proceedings encompass a diverse range of issues and require a broad scope of knowledge and empathy in practice. Melissa understands the magnitude of the process and exercises compassion with her clients. She states, “I understand divorce from all perspectives. I am a child of divorce and am divorced myself. I understand the emotional and financial aspects very well.”

Cipriano Law Offices is committed to each case, and clients will benefit from the team’s extensive skillset as they and their family’s transition through change and resolution.
