Welcome Dear Parents, Alumnae and Friends of Rosary High School, Welcome to the 20th Annual Rosary High School Candlelight Ball, There’s No Place Like Home. As I reflect on my involvement with Rosary High School, over this last year in particular, I cannot help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for this community. Our students are resilient and motivated, and similarly, our faculty and staff are dedicated, our parents and families committed, and our partners supportive. We honor the extraordinary community of people who live Rosary’s mission. While the COVID-19 pandemic has caused us to celebrate differently this year, I hope that you will still feel a sense of community and the energy emanating from this event. This evening’s Candlelight Ball, while in a different format from years past, will allow us to celebrate Rosary’s storied past and exciting future. Through the support of this flagship fundraising event, Rosary High School is able to provide an outstanding education for our students, while enhancing our STEM program, ensuring competitive salaries for our exceptional faculty and staff, and investing in curricular materials to sustain our excellent academic programs. Please remember that everything we do for our school, whether fresh paint on classroom walls or new desks for teachers and students, plays a role in fulfilling our desire to provide the best learning environment possible. We give special thanks to all of our Candlelight Ball participants, supporters, and volunteers. Your unwavering support and efforts have made this evening possible. On behalf of the Rosary High School community, I express our deepest gratitude to Becky Barr, Director of Special Events and Volunteers. We thank her for the countless hours she has spent dedicated to ensuring the success of this event. Her commitment and devotion to our school serves as an example to us all. (continued on next page)

Great things happen every day at Rosary High School. Guided by our mission established by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield to empower young women to achieve their greatest potential, our school is the best place for young women to grow and develop into caring, responsible, global citizens. Thank you for celebrating with us tonight! Sincerely, Amy T. McMahon Head of School
