Buddhist Fellowship Youth meet with Ramakrishna Mission Youth On 21 December 2016, the Buddhist Youth fellowship visited the Ramakrishna Mission at Bartley Road for an interactive session. The meet started at 2 30 pm at Harmony Centre with the Ramakrishna Mission youth joining other religious groups for a discussion on religious issues and how they deal with discrimination in a multicultural society. At 5 pm the group reached the Mission. After a short tea break they split into smaller groups led by Mission youth members to take a tour of the Mission campus and the various activities done at the Mission. They were impressed with the various services offered by the Mission for the good of the public.

There was an interactive session with Swami Vimokshananda at 6 pm. After a brief intro about the Holy Trio, he explained the various concepts on which questions were raised by the Buddhist youth. They evinced keen interest in learning about practices in Hinduism. All 40 youth attended the Arati at 7 pm at the Ramakrishna temple and had a pleasant dinner at the Boys' Home. They had a group Buddhist prayer before eating similar to the Hindus prayer of Brahmarpanam. As Sri Ramakrishna says that all rivers lead to the same ocean, everyone left to their homes with a clarity that every religion has its own practices but there are many similarities too.
