Sarada Kindergarten celebrates 25 years of service
A year long Sarada Kindergarten Silver Jubilee Celebration was launched on 23 September 2017 at the Bartley Church Hall. More than 1000 people enthusiastically joined the event. Swami Divyanandaji Maharaj, Secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission Saradapith, Belur Math, W. Bengal, India was the Guest of Honour. Presidential Council and Pastor Elwin of the Bartley Church graced the occasion. A commemorative souvenir magazine called “Kaleidoscope” was released. After that, about 500 students of the Sarada KG School presented a wonderful dance and song show. Long Service Awards were also presented to the teachers. Sarada Kindergarten celebrates 25 years of service
Ms Pushpavalli, the Principal and 5 Teachers received Long Service Awards from the hands of Swami Divyanandaji, a Trustee of the Headquarters Belur Math and the Head of Ramakrishna Mission Saradapitha, Belur Math. Swami Satyalokananda, the Manager of the Sarada KG School paid a Vote of Thanks. Earlier, the Silver Jubilee Celebration was duly launched by Swami Divyanandaji Maharaj together with Swami Vimokshananda, Ms Pushpavalli, the Principal of the Sarada KG School, Ms Suchitra Bhaskaran, the President of the TAPAS and a child Ishani Mantha, a student of KG 2. The various colourful performances by the children enacted on the stage received constant applause from the audience.

Fancy Dress Competition
The Teachers And Parents Association of Sarada (TAPAS) conducted a Fancy dress competition for Nursery and KG sections. The winning children with Swami Satyalokananda, the Manager of the Sarada Kindergarten and Swami Kripatmananda, the Manager of the Boys’ Home.

On 3 August 2017, some of our K2 children, ITE students, Teacher Priyaa and Swami Satyalokananda visited NTUC Silvercircle at Serangoon and donated $2000/-. The amount was raised by K2 children's gift to parents - Lamp - created by themselves with the collaboration of ITE students and also from the sale of children's unique own badges during their Open House sessions. Madam Indranee’s Loving Donation
Living with seven children of her own, Madam Indranee Elizabeth Nadisen played foster mother to 43 other children over the years. This year she won the tabla!’s seventh Community Champion Award. Of the Award amount that came to her, sponsored by State bank of India, Madam Indranee donated 50% to Ramakrishna Mission and the other 50% to Sri Narayana Mission. The function was held at Suntec City on 7 September 2017. The Kitchen Garden of the Ramakrishna Mission Boys’ Home is lovingly taken care by Sri Kumaran K Painthal, Assistant Treasurer of the Ramakrishna Mission’s Advisory Committee. He has been dedicating his service to the Boys’ Home in the daily morning hours uninterruptedly for many years. Upon his arrival, he waters the plants and tends to the growing vegetables in the garden. He also helps in the kitchen by cutting the vegetables and preparing for cooking.
