Udtalelse Peter Wallentin, Procter & Gamble Nordic Communications Manager P&G Nordic at Procter & Gamble To whom it may concern, For our 2012 Olympic campaign, Nicklas Vinde Mathiasen was hired as our reporter in London.

Nicklas followed the mother of pro table tennis player Michael Maze, Connie Andersen, who was the Danish sponsored face of the global Thank You Mom campaign The job required the ability to combine journalistic know-how with a business understanding. Nicklas showed both.

During the Olympic campaign, he wrote a number of articles about the campaign which were all brought in leading Danish media outlets. All articles contained great journalistic craftsmanship, be it an in-depth portrait or a news report.

Nicklas attacked the job with an eagerness and pragmatic approach that impressed even top level executives within our organization. By sending Nicklas to London for a few days, we were greatly helped to reach our Olympic goals.

And when his planned part of the campaign was over and he was supposed to go home, he decided to stay for a handful more days. But that’s just the way he is: Mad about sport and journalism.
