Welcome to the final edition of Vine January 2014

A message from the founder

N

early seven years ago exactly, aged 20, I was hatching a plan from my kitchen table to launch a new magazine for Sevenoaks. The idea was to combine gripping, hyper-local editorial content with beautiful design – more of a Sunday supplement as opposed to an adrag that ended up in the bin. Initially, I wanted to call it ‘Nole’, being what I thought was a clever twist on “Knole” but actually, it was just a rubbish name so I changed it to Vine at the last minute. 79 editions, 7 years, 1.1m copies and over 5,000 pages later, this is our final ever printed edition, as we go digital-only from this month. Have a great November!

The good news is we’ve teamed up with two of the area’s leading local media brands, The Sevenoaks Chronicle and SO Sevenoaks magazine, for an innovative collaboration to ensure that all the things you love about Vine will continue for many years to come.

With our team, we have worked hard to reposition and develop the brand to stay in-tune with a commercial landscape that is changing at lightning-speed. We launched Grapevine (now the biggest free networking event in Kent), overhauled the Vine website, expanded our team and pushed the boundaries of our offering and capabilities into web design, social media and marketing. We have decided to focus on the things we do best, and we are thrilled to launch our new creative agency brand, Yellowball, this month (see the next page for a deeper insight on this).

Why the change and what’s next? Since my business partner and friend, Charlie de Rusett, joined me in 2010, a lot has changed.

Finally, we would like to thank all the readers, writers, advertisers and friends that have helped us turn our kitchen table idea into a leading local media brand over the last seven years. It has been a journey we will never forget! Thanks again from everyone at Vine!

A note from the founders:

“We have both been lucky enough to

work in partnership with hundreds of brands and businesses over the last few years, across a range of really exciting sectors, helping them to fly ahead of the competition and meet their business objectives. Although many people aren’t aware (particularly our Vine readers), during this time, the creative agency element of our offering, as opposed to publishing, has always been the primary area and the one that excites us most. The launch of Yellowball now gives us the platform to better share the work we’re doing for our clients moving forward. It’s an exciting time for us.

Grammar school plans slammed

Birdsong to mark the Centenary year 2014 will mark 100 years since the outbreak of World War I, and Rachel Wagstaff ’s stage adaptation of Birdsong, a novel by Sebastian Faulks, will be on tour in the UK. Part of that tour will involve performances in Tunbridge Wells at the Assembly Hall Theatre from 24 February to 1 March. The 2013 tour of the play earned four and fivestar reviews and was able to raise £50,000 for Help for Heroes, and will continue to raise money on its 2014 tour. n For more information, contact the Assembly Hall Theatre on 01892 530 613

Joggers' charity run As well as supporting its many ladies who enter charity events, Sevenoaks Ladies Joggers also work hard to support charity and community projects. For the second year in a row, the Sevenoaks Ladies Joggers assisted and supported the British Heart Foundation in the Christmas ‘Santa Run’. After warming up the Santas, the ladies took off on their 5k run along with more than 80 other people. n For more information on their charity work and runs visit www.sevenoaksladiesjoggers.co.uk

we’d love to hear from you

Plans to build a grammar school in Sevenoaks have once again come to a halt as two plans have been rejected because they were for single sex establishments. Official rules for grammar sites state that an annexe can only be built by extending an existing school, and there are no co-ed schools in the district to expand. Although this is a disappointment, the council are not giving up their fight to build a new grammar school in Sevenoaks which would have been the first to be built in Britain for 50 years.

Cycle route for Sevenoaks

Local Grammy nomination

Olympic star to open local café

Local company raise £10,000

publishing DIRECTOR

The council has recently released proposals to make 140 metres of cycle route at the busy intersection across Morleys roundabout in order to provide a less hazardous route for cyclists on the A21/A225. The plans also include putting in new signs as well as five dropped kerbs. The plans have not yet been finalised as these proposals are still being debated.

Congratulations to Sevenoaks composer James Whitbourn who has become one of five nominees in the Best Choral Performance category at the Grammys. His masterpiece, Annelies, is a 75-minute choral work set to the words of the diary of Anne Frank and was released earlier this year. He will find out if he has won at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles on 26 January.

Dame Kelly Holmes has been given the go-ahead by the council to open a café in the heart of Hildenborough. Her initial plans were recently rejected due to local complaints about the opening hours, lack of parking space and noise, and so she revised these issues. Her plan is to create a hub for the local community encouraging people to meet and socialise.

Known for putting the fun in insurance, Markerstudy Group raised more than £10,000 for charity. With events such as an online auction and dressing up as big screen icons, nearly 2,000 employees including those in the Tunbridge Wells and Bessels Green headquarters, took part. All proceeds will go towards good causes around the UK including Chestnut Tree House and Macmillan Cancer.

second interview When did you start acting and why? When I was nine my parents chucked me into different groups and classes in including cubs, basketball, piano and even clarinet lessons, which didn’t go too well! I was happiest attending my drama classes on a Saturday morning and so when I was 14 I decided to pursue this.

After attending Sylvia Young school and Rose Bruford College I have been very fortunate with great acting jobs. Why did you choose to audition for Birdsong? After seeing the show in my local theatre two years ago I knew I would love to do it! The story is so fantastic and moving, and my character Stephen Wraysford Is so complex, which is rewarding for me as I am pushing myself. I have previously played Pip in Great Expectations so I know and love how adaptations enable you to

tell your own version of a story. What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you on stage? After I graduated I appeared in The History Boys show on tour which was of course a lot of misbehaving on stage! One day I decided to be impulsive on stage and decided to eat a Kit Kat. The problem is eating in front of an audience

is 50 times more difficult than in real life! All of a sudden I started choking on this Kit Kat and I couldn’t get out my lines, whilst the other actors were standing at the side of the stage laughing at me!

PROFESSIONAL

FOREIGN

EXCHANGE As there are constant growing concerns with our economic state, MSP Foreign Exchange Services explain how they can be of service during these uncertain times Why you need best advice in these uncertain times In these difficult days it’s imperative that you have the best possible advice at your disposal, and the need to execute your currency requirement at the most opportune moment has never been more crucial. MSP Foreign Exchange Services can help both private and business clients achieve the best exchange rates and ensure complete security of funds. Private Clients With markets picking up in the UK and abroad you may well be looking to sell and buy overseas property, and if you are back in the market to buy then the current exchange rates are extremely favourable compared to the last few years. We can also take care of your ongoing running costs or currency mortgage payments. But it’s not just with property sales and purchases that MSPFX can help. We also offer our bespoke services to assist in your emigration to sunnier climes or immigration to the UK, as well as facilitating business and travel cash to your door. Business Clients If you are importing/ exporting goods and/or services then you will almost certainly have currency exposure. MSP prides itself on working with our corporate clients to help maximise FX opportunity whilst minimizing risk. We are acutely aware that executing currency deals is not your main core business and

therefore sometimes not deemed a main priority, but to deal more effectively can make a huge difference to your bottom line. Take, for example, an importer needing €100k per month to satisfy their order book. By executing that requirement at a rate of say 0.8400 (1.1905 ) rather than 0.8500( 1.1764 ) MSPFX would produce a saving of GBP 1000 pm, or GBP 12,000 pa.. Worth having don’t you think? And because of our large volumes of business we will always achieve a better rate than you would get going directly to the market, regardless of your own size of trade. We work with you, for you. By taking the time to understand your business we will learn how you prefer to operate. We might suggest buying forward to lock in current rates for periods up to 2 years, or look to execute your requirement in tranches to seize prevailing opportunity whilst allowing you to take advantage should the market move further in your favour. MSP provides simple risk-management solutions. Security of funds is assured as we deal only through FSA regulated providers and your monies are paid to them, and by them. The past few years have seen a massive rise in volatility as concerns grow over global economic and political instability. LEGAL MATTERS The team at Warners Solicitors offer regular expert advice on topics relevant to our everyday lives. This month Lauren McQue gives some tips on having work done to your property

W

hen purchasing a property we usually inspect it, obtain a detailed survey, and hire a lawyer to ensure the appropriate contractual safeguards are in place. After spending all that time and money ensuring the property is perfect, many of us subsequently fail to take similar precautions when deciding to have work done to it. Consequently, disputes can arise which result in significant costs that could potentially be avoided. If you intend to have work carried out on your property, firstly do your research. We have a world of information at our disposal. Use it. There are comparison websites and sites of certain trade bodies that list reputable tradesmen in your area. Obtain a number of quotes before proceeding. Once you have chosen who to instruct, ensure the following is clarified in writing: • The parties to the agreement. • A detailed description of the intended works. • A time scale in which the works are to be done. • The price, including the cost of labour and materials, and when payment is due. • Any other terms that are important. In a larger scale transaction you may choose to have a contract drawn up by a professional. Failing to agree terms clearly can result in disputes later on that

Lauren McQue

are difficult to resolve because the only evidence you have as to what was agreed is your word against theirs! In many cases, you may be provided with their standard terms of business. If you are unhappy with any of the terms you are within your rights to negotiate these, although many businesses will be unlikely to significantly vary their standard terms. Make sure you read these carefully so you know what you are agreeing to. Whatever you do, try to avoid paying in cash! Again, if the relationship deteriorates, it will be more difficult to prove that you paid. Try to use an alternative method of payment such as a bank transfer. Ensure you clearly agree under what circumstances you will be able to terminate the instruction, for instance if the work takes too long. Check standard terms of business carefully as they might require notice of termination to be provided in a certain manner and you should ensure you comply with this. Such simple rules could hopefully avoid you spending even more money on your property in the form of your litigation lawyer’s fees!! n For advice on all aspects of the law relating to Property Dispute Resolution, contact Lauren McQue on 01732 747932, or email lauren. mcque@warners-solicitors.co.uk, Follow Warners @KentSolicitors

Life in the Nursery

AT SEVENOAKS PREP The Sevenoaks Prep Nursery is a celebration of childhood and the beginning of being part of the wider school community

M

any children at Sevenoaks Prep begin their school life in the Nursery at the age of two. It is a warm, secure environment with dedicated, experienced teachers who put children and parents at ease. Children are treated as individuals and take part in a wide range of activities that allow them to grow in confidence and to feel part of the wider school community. At the beginning of each morning, the children and teachers in the Nursery gather round for circle time and introduce the activities for that morning. Cookery, music, nature trails, craft, colouring, tumble tots, stories, drama and science are just some that are enjoyed. It is vital that the children have fun while they are learning. Their social skills are greatly enhanced by the interaction they have with their peers and teachers. Mrs Sue Binnie, Head of Nursery, recognises the importance of treating each child as an individual and understanding their strengths and challenges. In the 2013 ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate) Report, The Early Years Foundation Stage was rated as ‘outstanding’ in every area: “Children trust and respect their teachers and relate well to each other. They are provided with secure foundations for their future well-

being in all aspects of their learning. As a result, they respond to school life with great enthusiasm and enjoyment.” The Nursery classrooms and outdoor area lie in the heart of the Junior School with close access to the wider school facilities such as the large hall, the adventure playgrounds with specialist play equipment, the fields and access to Knole Park. Nursery children also join school celebrations including special assemblies. Through shared facilities and interaction with the older pupils, Nursery children have an understanding of the bigger picture of the school which makes a fluid transition to Kindergarten, Reception and beyond. Families are welcome to visit the Nursery as part of a tour of the school, or as a taster session, to appreciate the very special atmosphere for themselves.

It is important to the school that there is a sense of belonging to the family from day one

inguaholics, a Sevenoaksbased language agency, believes that it is important to learn languages as it offers a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to experience new cultures. Their lessons are specifically designed to make learning fun, which encourages better participation and a

positive approach towards learning. As there are a variety of teachers specialising in different age groups, such as 3-11 year olds, GCSE and A-Level and adults, Linguaholics covers a wide range of abilities and levels making learning available for all. In order to make the lessons engaging, they use modern teaching methods which are specifically designed to suit each individual knowing that everyone progresses differently. As well as this, Linguaholics also encourages its students to develop their social skills which will give them room for their own personal development and to strive towards meaningful deadlines and goals so that they constantly have something to work towards. One student has praised a teacher, Tracey

Bonjour & Buenos Dias

Taylor, for her teaching skills, stating that: "For my GCSEs I got a C and a D in my Spanish reading and listening respectively in my mocks, I really wanted to improve. Tracey helped raise my confidence, and also gave me invaluable techniques on the exam papers. Thanks to her, I ended up getting an A* in my Spanish GCSE, which I thought was impossible." As well as teaching in the standards of the National Curriculum, Linguaholics also specialises in teaching adults. One adult student has said that "learning French has been an invaluable tool for me because it has assisted me in speaking and communication in French with my counterparts in Switzerland where I own a property. I have had various challenging communications to

deal with and Tracey’s patient demeanour and teaching style have helped considerably, especially given my age and foreign language capabilities."

T

With expansion underway in and out of the classroom, Vine discovers what The Granville has planned to get 2014 off to a flying start

he Granville Preparatory School in Sevenoaks is home to just under 200 pupils ranging from the ages of three to eleven. It is predominately a girls school, however they welcome boys aged three to four. They have just completed a new building which will provide improved classrooms and a new Art and Design Technology Centre. The project began in early 2013, and now replaces Lodge Cottage, the old home of the previous headmistress Mrs Evans. They are now in the final stages of putting the finishing touches to the building before the start of the new term in 2014. The building will mainly serve the Early Years stage of the school but is set to benefit The Granville as a whole. The ground floor rooms will belong to the Nursery, Transition and Reception classes, and the upstairs room will become the Art and Design Technology Centre. This will enable the school to develop a new new Information and Communications Technology (ICT) room. Years three and four will move into the current Ena Makin building. Along with this new building and strong academic success, the school has also A traditional its sporting facilities, including prep school with upgraded resurfacing all of the outdoor courts. The an evolutionary Granville continues to offer a varied and eclectic mix of extra-curricular sports and way of thinking other activities and strongly believes in the value that this adds to the rounding of the children. While the school is consistently developing and moving forward, it hasn’t let its enviable academic record slip. Its deeply rooted traditions and values still underpin everything it does. The Granville is proven and successful at providing a high quality, all-round education that focuses on the development of each child so that they can achieve their full potential. High academic success and outstanding Independent School Inspectorate (ISI) ratings year after year are still attained through the diligent work of the staff, excellent staff-to-pupil ratios and a happy, caring and stimulating environment. n For more information call 01732 453039 or visit www.granvilleschool.org. Experts in local tuition

T

Vine explores why Kip McGrath is unique in specialising in private English and maths tuition

he Kip McGrath Education Centre in Sevenoaks specialises in providing maths and English tuition to students of all ages. All staff at the Centre are fully qualified teachers, rather than tutors or instructors, and have enhanced police (DBS) checks. This benefits all students because the staff

are experts in the National Curriculum and know how to plan and deliver lessons that target students' specific needs. They begin their teaching process with a free educational assessment which will highlight your child’s gaps and weaknesses in maths, tables, English, reading, comprehension, spelling and writing. The teaching process is then made unique to each individual. Rather than just using repetitive worksheets, lessons are planned to include a mixture of computer tasks and worksheets from

exclusive Kip McGrath resources, with each task targeting an area of need. To help students prepare for GCSE, Common Entrance and 11+ exams, lessons are available during the school holidays, with the option to select how many and when you would like to attend. Parents and students are encouraged to share school reports and targets with the Kip McGrath teachers so that targets can be built into the student's individualised programme, thereby enhancing any support the student may be receiving at school.

With the rates of degenerative diseases increasing, Solar Health explains how the latest technology can improve your health without the use of drugs

sing the latest technology, Solar Health Clinic is now able to calculate your overall carotenoid antioxidant status to access the effectiveness of nutritional supplements in improving your overall antioxidant health.

The patented Pharmanex BioPhotonic Scanner is the world’s first immediate and non-invasive apparatus which is able to calculate how your body and skin are aging as this is in direct proportion to the amount of antioxidants you maintain in your body. From this, Solar Health Clinic can also access how well you are protected against degenerative diseases such as cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis and heart disease as our body depends on our cells' health and what level of antioxidant protection

we maintain. Unlike conventional testing such as blood tests and X-rays, the BioPhotonic Scanner is simple and easy to use: you simply place the palm of your hand in front of the Scanner’s safe light laser which will create an immediate reading. Solar Health Clinic feels strongly about this new technology as the results will allow them to empower people to become more pro-active in taking better responsibility for their health. This will then allow people to become more aware of degenerative diseases, which are on the rise and causing more problems in the nation’s health than ever before.

ASK THE BETTER

BODY SHOP Chris Wharton from the Better Body Shop tells us his top tips for losing weight this January

Forget about all of the fancy new diets and exercise regimes being forced upon you this year. Keep it simple with the following 10 tips.

recommend) throw all remaining cheat foods out at the end of the day.

1. Decide what you want to achieve and write it down

Do yourself a favour and make January booze free. Your body will thank you. Alcohol always ruins good intentions, and must be metabolised before we start burning fat again.

If you really want to achieve something, write it down on paper and put it somewhere important. Include what you want to achieve and why. For example, lose 10lb by April to fit into your wedding dress. Refer to your goal daily. 2. Set a start and finish date

we are brand builders. weareyellowball.com

Don’t just say you’re going to lose weight, be specific, when will you start? Jan 1st? When the kids go back to school? Give yourself a set number of weeks to achieve your goal. Set an end date and commit to it. 3. Enlist help Losing weight is far easier with the help of a professional. Find a personal trainer with the right credentials such as postgrad qualifications, numerous testimonials and lengthy industry experience. Although trainers can be pricey, they will always get you to your goal quickly and safely. 4. Plan your meals It is almost impossible to stick to a nutrition plan without preparation. Use a quiet time in the week to prepare your meals and snacks. Time to dust off the Tupperware.

6. Don’t drink your calories

7. Sleep more As discussed in my last column, sleep is one of the key factors to fat loss. January is usually quieter on the social front so catch up on a few winks. Aim for 7+ hours a night. 8. Drink more water Being properly hydrated improves digestion, removes excess toxins, speeds up the fat burning process and aids in just about every other function of the human body. Aim for a minimum of two litres of water a day. 9. Lift more weight, more often The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn at rest, helping you achieve your goal quicker. 10. Once you start, see it through During January you will no doubt come across endless articles about the latest fitness trends or fad diets. Some may be valid and helpful and some full of rubbish. Either way, pick one that you believe in and see it through.

5. Remove temptation If you are anything like me, having junk food in the house will often end with you eating it. If you have a cheat day (which I strongly

transforming the shape of my patients' bodies with no downtime. I am delighted with the results.

Dr. Johanna Ward MBBS DRCOG MRCGP Dip Clin Derm

Even if you eat right and exercise regularly, some lumps, bumps and rolls just won’t go. Now thankfully there is a way to easily reduce love handles, a post-pregnancy paunch, muffin top, bingo wings and wobbly thighs safely and naturally. CoolSculpting is a non-surgical alternative to Liposcution, clinically approved by the FDA. Using revolutionary technology Cryolipolysis, it freezes only fat cells to a temperature that triggers them to die and be released from the body in the natural way and in normal amounts. Results have shown that a single one-hour treatment can achieve up to a 40% reduction of fat in the treated area. Initial results are visible from 30 days with full results at 90 days.

Do the results last? By the time we reach adolescence the body has laid down all the fat cells it will have as an adult. CoolSculpting uses Cryolipolysis to precisely freeze stubborn fat. The fat cells in turn are naturally absorbed and removed by the body without injury to the skin or other tissues. Once destroyed they do not re-grow. CoolSculpting is the only Cryolipolysis treatment approved by the FDA, guaranteeing it is a safe and clinically proven treatment.

CoolSculpting... The Facts •

Initial results seen at 30 days with final result at 90 days.

One treatment can reduce up to 40% of stubborn fat

No knives, needles or scars

Fat cells are naturally assimilated by the body in safe numbers

No damage to muscle or tissue

More than 850,000 treatments worldwide

Results are permanent. Once treated the frozen fat cells are gone for good

Set within the walls of an historic mansion and featuring a Roman-themed spa and award-winning restaurant, Rowhill Grange is the perfect weekend escape, says Owen Hunnam

O

n a drizzly Saturday a couple of weeks before Christmas, while the rest of Kent flocked to bustling shopping malls and town centres to endure a lastminute dash for Christmas gifts, my girlfriend and I swept into the stunning grounds of Rowhill Grange. Tucked away just off the main road near Hextable, and only 25 minutes from Sevenoaks, this impressive 18th-century manor house would be easy to miss. A world away from the bustling queues and jam-packed scramble of Bluewater, which is just a few miles away, this stunning hotel and spa was the perfect retreat for a luxury pre-Christmas escape. From the moment we were welcomed, the attentive team at Rowhill Grange treated us like royalty. As we meandered through the maze of corridors and staircases to our luxury room called Poppy (every room is named after a flower, which is a nice touch), our porter explained the rich and eventful past of this historic house. Our room at Rowhill was among the best I have enjoyed from any hotel. With subtle and modern décor, a polished Victorian-style bath and a power-shower to rival any of the best, you are also treated to a range of luxury Temple Spa soaps and shampoos. But the centrepiece of the room was without doubt the bed; featuring a deep-sprung mattress, the finest Egyptian cotton sheets and deluxe duvets, this is a bed you won't want to leave. Until, of course, you discover the experience that awaits in the Utopia spa. The Roman-themed interiors are designed to take guests on an intimate spa journey. Featuring two floors of beautifully-lit pools, bubble

38 vine January 2014 vinedigital.co.uk

tubs, pressure jets (the most powerful I’ve ever experienced) and a steam room, the spa area also has reclining chairs and a range of magazines to help you unwind when you want a break from the bubbles. With 19 elegant treatment rooms, there are a wealth of options available including facials, massages, holistic and electrical treatments, pedicures and even a hair salon. After unwinding for a couple of hours in the spa, we enjoyed a 25-minute back and neck massage in their double treatment room. To the sound of piped music and the smell of eucalyptus oils, we slipped into repose, hoping it would never end. Having eased into our evening with a glass of fizz in the cosy bar next to a crackling log fire, we were treated to an outstanding dining experience. With two AA Rosettes and under the direction of executive chef Luke Davis, RG’s restaurant has gained an enviable reputation as one of the area’s best eateries. And having enjoyed a three-course indulgence of Weald smoked salmon with pickled fennel salad, melt-inthe-mouth fillet steak and homemade hot chocolate fondant with orange ice cream, it’s easy to see why. After setting off on Sunday morning and arriving in central London to join the hoards of Christmas shoppers on Regent Street, we were left wondering why we had ever left the tranquillity of Rowhill Grange. n During January, Rowhill Grange are offering a full spa day with a 2-course lunch and £150 worth of treatments from just £125. FINANCIAL

MATTERS

Nigel Taylor of NJT Accountancy discusses the options you have when buying or owning a property overseas.

I

nheritance tax allowances (IHT) in the UK are by far more beneficial than most European Countries so why are we not utilising them to their full advantage? If you own a property overseas, especially in Spain, then there is a ticking time bomb for inheritance tax where the property is based. Allowances in Spain are only €15,956, in the UK its £325,000, a big difference! You also have to have a separate Will if you own a property to determine the beneficiaries of your estate. If an unmarried couple jointly own a property worth €240,000, a surviving partner has to pay €31,000 on inheriting the half share. Legal costs would be another €5,000. If a married couple jointly own a property worth €800,000, a surviving spouse has to pay €75,000 on inheriting the half share. Legal costs would be another €8,000. One way to reduce IHT overseas is to transfer your villa into a UK Limited Company that you own one hundred percent of the shares. Clever allocation of shares to family members will be able to reduce IHT further in the UK. By transferring your villa into a UK Limited Company there would be no Inheritance Tax to pay in Spain, there would be no Will required for each person, no Spanish legal costs and no non-residency Income or Wealth Tax returns due. The property would be owned and controlled locally by a simple to manage and low-cost company. There would also be no taxes to pay in the UK too! Transferring the villa into a UK Company is easy and there wouldn’t be any transfer fees/ stamp duty or any local taxes to pay. The UK Company would then own the property investment in Spain, with the

previous owners now being the shareholder/directors of the company. Under the EU Treaty, a UK Company is only taxed in one jurisdiction, the UK, and no taxes are payable onward in Spain. A UK Company is not an Offshore Company as offshore companies are charged an annual Tax by Spain of 3% for not being part of the EU. This process can occur if you are thinking about buying in Spain or thinking about transferring your property to a UK Company. We are now in a golden era to move your property into a UK Company as it’s difficult to find any capital gain on purchases of property in Spain over the past 10 years, so plan ahead on inheritance tax! You really wouldn’t want to leave a €66,000 bill behind, would you? Nigel Taylor of NJT Accountancy Chartered Certified Accountants Anyone who has a property in Spain must file their nonresidency tax return (210 Form) by 31 December every year. If you haven’t done so already you will be fined! n For tax advice on overseas property contact NJT Accountancy on 01732 446462 or visit our website www.njtaccountancy.co.uk
