Here are some of the upcoming events that you should know about.

Before you Begin the Journey: Becoming Relationship Ready Saturday, August 10, 9am-1pm. Cost: $10 per person (includes class materials & online inventory) Rather than assisting you in finding “the one”, this class will equip you to stand firm in your identity in Christ and bring your best self to current and future relationships. You’ll also receive practical information on beginning and navigating healthy dating relationships, including the qualities to look for in a dating partner and how to set healthy relationship boundaries. Open to singles and dating couples.

“People usually come to us when their marriage is in crisis. We want couples to know that we have many resources, relationship coaching, classes, seminars and online tools to aid in the development of their dating, engaged, marriage relationships or parenting responsibilities. ” Said Care Ministries pastor, Dr. Ron Hitchcock. Many people do not seek relationship or parenting advice until they are in a crisis situation, just like avoiding doctor visits unless there is an illness, any of these relationship struggles could have been avoided had people known how to connect with our ministries and resources. Developing relationships skills are important to every couple and each couple should sharpen or develop their communication, conflict resolution, friendship, shared values and shared spiritual life. So, what are these tools and resources and where can I find them? Well, let’s start with the BRAND NEW Family Life Center at our Cooper Road campus. Did you know that we now have a whole room just off our lobby designated for family resources? The Family Life Center has a versatile array of tools that provide help for singles, couples, parents and grandparents they navigate life’s complexities. Stop by for practical ideas to help YOU navigate all of life’s seasons! The Family Life Center will be ready to launch this fall. Family Season Pointers, for example, cover more than two dozen topics providing biblical perspective on common family seasons and challenges. Additionally, there are also advanced resources with ministry descriptions and contacts for each situation. The best intentions are useless without practical ideas to bring faith home. The Family Life Center is located by the south entrance of our Cooper Road campus and is open after services every weekend. The Marriage and Family ministry offers several classes and seminars that have been developed over the years that are designed for all stages and seasons of relationships family life 8
