Dear Reader, Vineyard Community Center was launched by Vineyard Columbus in October 2006. The Center primarily serves the diverse neighborhoods of the northeast side of Central Ohio. Because we exist to support and serve our community, we hope that you might find something fun, helpful, and relevant to your needs or your family’s needs within our vast program offerings. Here is a glimpse of what you’ll find within this publication:

This holistic program offers social emotional development, academic enrichment, homework support, physical recreation, and experiences with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). Youth will engage in service projects, student led learning initiatives, leadership development, and learn foundational social skills essential for growth and development. Parents will also have leadership opportunities to serve, be a voice, and provide support for development of the youth. ICS responds to requests from members of the public through our monthly intake clinic. After intake is completed, clients will be given a 30-minute consultation with an AILA immigration attorney in a timely manner. Attorney referrals may be necessary upon consultation. ICS also provides legal representation for a limited number of clients per year; representation decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. Intake is the mandatory first step to receiving services.

In fact, the demand has been so great that it has been very difficult to meet with everyone who hoped to discuss their needs with a lawyer. In order to better meet the needs of our visitors and our volunteers, everyone who wishes to meet with a lawyer will be required to come to the clinic, in person, to complete an informational form. Your informational form will be reviewed by our volunteers to

As a brief advice clinic, it is not possible to accept cases for personal representation. In truly exceptional cases, a lawyer may agree to represent you. AG R E E M E N T T O I N D E M N I F Y, A N D N O T S U E , A N D R E L E A S E O F A L L C L A I M S I desire for myself and/or my child(ren) listed above (collectively, whether one or more, the “Participants”), voluntarily and with full assumption of all risks, to participate in the Vineyard Community Center program(s) described above and all incidental activities (collectively, the “Activity”), and in consideration of your acceptance of this registration, I agree, for myself, the Participants, and my/their respective representatives and successors-in-interest to waive and release Vineyard Community Center and Vineyard Columbus and their respective officers, trustees, directors, employees and agents from all liability for any injury, damage, or loss incurred or suffered by any Participant resulting directly or indirectly from any Participant’s participation in any Activity, including without limitation the provision of any first aid, emergency or other medical attention necessitated by the Participant’s participation in any Activity. I hereby grant and give Vineyard Community Center and Vineyard Columbus the right to use each Participant’s photograph or image with or without my/our names, both single and in conjunction with other persons or objects for any and all purposes, including but not limited to private or public presentations, advertising, publicity and promotion.
