Greetings everyone

It has been quite a busy month , a lot of planning and decisions have been made.

In the August Distributor were the options concerning the proposed increases in the amount of sub we have to pay head office per year,

On the 2nd of August, club night was taken over by a long discussion on whether the head office subscription should be increased, and if so by how much, the small amount of members that were present voted to increase the head office sub by $25 plus gst, so next time you pay your sub, it will be an extra $28.75, it was commented that another way of looking at is, it it’s only the cost of five coffees in a café!! I don’t know about you but these days who spends a lot of time eating out, I did not vote for the increase.

The weather gods were very kind to us for Daffodil day, it was a great success, many thanks to the great team who organised it.

About $890 was raised for the Cancer Society. judging by the amount raised, that would mean that over 80 cars were present. Cancer is a horrible thing to have, I know this as two of my close family have suffered from it, I am glad to say that both have managed to recover from it.
