The Franz Josef Car Show is fast approaching and has been well supported by members of our Branch with all those who have taken the time to travel thoroughly enjoying themselves often despite the “West Coast weather”. Such a beautiful part of our country so if you have not been please think about a wee sojourn down the Coast.

Congratulations on a great run to Hokitika for Daffodil Day, 21 August 2021. The weather was fine/wet/fine but that did not deter many of our members and others from joining together for a display and run to Hokitika. Email I recently received a lovely email from former members and attach below for others information. It is lovely to know that our “happenings” are watched further afield than just the Coast. As indicated there are past members keen on helping us celebrate our 40 years which is fantastic.
I've just been browsing through the WCVCC newsletter. Nice to see that the club is still going strong. In particular, it is fantastic to see that Tom Griffen is still involved. Cheryl and I both held various positions during the formative years, and it was quite humorous to see there was another Mitchell doing the Newsletter) I bet you don't still use the old Gestetner that we had. :) I see that the 40th Anniversary of the branch is coming up. WOW, where did that time go. Whilst Cheryl and I are no longer members, (for health reasons, we had to sell our Vintage cars, and now have a 40 year old Bus as a Motorhome) we would love to be able to attend any celebrations that you may have. I well recall the dinner we held for the 100th year of the car, where most people dressed in period costume of the year of the car

VIC FORMS A reminder to all members who have VIC cards that are due to expire, you will receive a personalised RENEWAL FORM from the National Office at least three months before the due date. You cannot download a form off the internet. They are personalised for each individual vehicle. Please fill in and hand to Branch Secretary. Please note that new applications can be downloaded from the website or contact the Branch Secretary. If you wish to participate in any National VCC Event, you need to have a Vehicle Identification Certificate, don’t leave it until the last minute as it takes some time for the processing of paperwork.
SERVICE BADGES To those members who are nearing 25, 35 or 50 years membership, please contact Membership officer David Campbell. You are entitled to a service badge for your continued membership. Check out the date you joined the Vintage Car Club.
