WELCOME E4 Udderbelly Festival at Southbank Centre is back! The big purple cow celebrates its 4th year at Southbank Centre! We hope you’ll enjoy reading through this brochure and finding a show (or fifty!) to suit you. There really is something for everyone - from the largest programme of live comedy in London to cabaret shows, kids comedy, amazing music and family fun at the weekends. Our two headline shows, The Vocal Orchestra and Havana Rumba!, are suitable for all ages and will leave you with a very big smile on your face. And with nearly all tickets between £10 and £20 we’re once again hoping to be London’s most affordable entertainment festival. Has there ever been a better reason to watch a show in a big, purple, upside down cow? We don’t think so. Thank you to all our supporters over the last three years and thank you in advance for making E4 Udderbelly Festival at Southbank Centre the place to be this summer.
Ed Bartlam and Charlie Wood Head Farmers
Our Festival of the World celebrates the arrival of the Olympic and Paralympic games to the UK and gives us the chance to literally play host to every nation. Throughout the summer we are presenting amazing shows, projects and exhibitions from around the globe and E4 Udderbelly Festival is one of our best platforms for family, circus and comedy. Plus we always use it to train a great group of young people in how to put on their own festivals for the future. There’s only one upside down purple cow in London and of course it’s at Southbank Centre.
Jude Kelly Southbank Centre
THE MAGNERS PASTURE Our bar and food garden is a great place to laze with a refreshing pint of Magners this summer. You don’t need a ticket to a show to come in and you’ll be treated to fresh, organic food, deck chairs, giant games and superb views over the Thames.
Our opening hours: Thursday – Saturday: midday to midnight Sunday – Wednesday: midday to 11pm

Tim Minchin
Comedy / Music
Who better to close E4 Udderbelly Festival at Southbank Centre than the mighty Tim Minchin? The comedian, composer, musician and writer is one of the UK’s biggest stars, having recently completed his first arena tour with the 55-piece Heritage Orchestra and written the music and lyrics for the Royal Shakespeare Company’s critically acclaimed production of Matilda. This one off show will be intimate and very, very special with material chosen from his back-catalogue of hilarious, scathing and often unsettlingly lovely songs. ‘Minchin is a genuine musical virtuoso, whose songs are constructed and sung with an attention to detail
that would make Rufus Wainwright sit up and look nervous. And that’s even before we get to the jokes’ Times 8pm (60 mins, 16yrs +) £30 / £40 Sirloin seats Presented by Underbelly Productions by arrangement with PBJ Management
