eptember was another busy month, with two drives and a TSD rally completed. We have one more drive planned for Sunday, October 4th for new members and it filled up very fast with eighteen new members registered. As with all our previous events, the demand exceeded our capacity due to COVID-19 health restrictions.
Thanks again to all the organizers and volunteers for their efforts in making all the events a big success. I want to especially thank all the participants, who followed all the COVID -19 protocols to ensure that we could continue to get together, enjoy driving our cars and socialize. Last month, I mentioned our year-end was August 31st and we have now scheduled our AGM via Zoom at 7pm on Tuesday, October 27th. Attendance will be by registration only via MotorsportReg.com October 1st onwards and I hope you will join us. With some great door prizes to give away to ‘attendees’, the chances of being a winner are quite high. The full agenda and reports can be found in this issue of the Porscher.
all are willing to serve for another year. As part of the AGM process, we are required to ask for other nominations for board positions and if any members have resolutions to amend our bylaws, then these are considered at the AGM. Please submit any nominations or resolutions to me. 2021 marks our 25th anniversary as a Club and we are planning to offer an even greater number of drives and social events to celebrate this milestone. I’m happy to report that a number of people have stepped up to volunteer and assist in making this happen. Of course, more help is always appreciated and we are happy to add more members and/or their associates to the planning committee. Finally, I want to thank all of the board members and chairs that make up our executive team. Without them, none of what we do would be possible. As they say, “it’s not just the cars, it’s the people”. Please take care and stay safe.

f you are planning to attend our AGM this year on October 27th, as Tim says above, it will be a virtual meeting held via Zoom which is available on all platforms including phones and tablets. As Zoom seem to update their software regularly, please ensure your copy of Zoom is current before the meeting to save time trying to update it when you need it!
If you have not used Zoom before, you do not need to create an account, here is a short video on YouTube to get started, although there is not much to learn really. The AGM information package is included in this issue.
