Interim Brand Guide

The following mini guide is designed to be a quick and easy overview of our brand. It explains how to use Experience Al Ain descriptor logo and its color Palette. These guidelines should be used in conjunction with the masterbrand ( EAD) guidelines for guidance on all other brand elements.

Our brand consists of five key signature assets, which forms our visual identity. The next pages explain each element and their correct usage within our visual identity. It's important to follow the correct usage of the main assets to ensure consistency and alignment throughout the brand usage to build brand equity

Experience Al Ain logo uses the masterbrand experience Abu Dhabi calliagraphy style wordmark to create Experience Al Ain logo to show Al Ain brand hierarchy stemming from Experience Abu Dhabi brand.

The logo should always be used in the Olive or set white out of a Olive background, as illustrated opposite. Always use the original artwork and never recreate it.

Our primary Arabic logo has been designed to match the forms of our English logo. We use it across all of our communications when we are communicating in Arabic-speaking markets. For all other markets we lead with our English logo.

To ensure the prominence and visibility of our logo whenever it appears, we have set a clear space and minimum size guidance.

Experience Al Ain logo

We use a clear space around our logo that is equal to half the height of our logo. The clear space is kept free from graphics, text, and other marks. It also defines the minimum distance between the logo and the edge of a printed piece of communication.

Minimum size

The master logo artwork is available in one size that can be scaled down to a minimum width of 50mm in print and 140pixels in digital.

This version of the logo is to be used across all of our Hero campaign communications. In certain instances, it can also be used in our brand and marketing materials. Always use the master artwork when working with the tagline logo lock-up. Clear space The tagline lock-up logo follows the same rule as our primary logo.

This version of the logo is to be used across all of our Arabic Hero campaign communications. In certain instances, it can also be used in our brand and marketing materials. Always use the master artwork when working with the tagline logo lock-up. Clear space The tagline lock-up logo follows the same rule as our primary logo.

Typography

Our primary typeface is Abu Dhabi Basis. We use it across all our external and internal communications across both English and Arabic languages.

We use Abu Dhabi Basis in four weights — Light, Regular, Medium and Bold.

This typeface supports our Arabic, English, French, German and Italian markets and will support any other Latin based languages. It does not support Cyrillic, Hebrew or East Asian languages. When working with these languages we use Noto Sans.

Experience Al Ain uses two hero colours from the master brand palette (Olive and Sandstone). Olive is our lead colour, and should always be used for the Experience Al Ain logo; either positive or reversed out if used on a Olive background. Olive is supported by Sandstone. The Olive and Sandstone pairing should be predominantly used to create colour association and recognition. There are also six secondary colours (Dusk, midnight, Safari, Dune , Black and White) that should be used carefully to add vibrancy and highlights where required within communications. Key Visuals

As Experience Al Ain logo serves as a supergraphic element it can be placed behind a cutout in the photo. The slogan, “A Living Oasis,” should be prominently positioned over the image, either on the left or right side of the logo, based on the photo's composition. Ensure the slogan is always clear and legible.
