Rangoli Online Competition Terms & Conditions
1. This competition is hosted on Visit Abu Dhabi FB IN page only by DCT Abu Dhabi
Competition Mechanism
• All participants must submit their beautiful and colourful Diwali designs in the SM Posts’ comments section
• All participants must use the Abu Dhabi hashtag #InAbuDabi, tag @VisitAbuDhabi, tag a friend or friends and follow the @VisitAbuDhabi Social Media pages on which the competitions are hosted on.
2. The duration of this competition is one week starting from the day that the announcement post has been posted on VAD SM page.
3. The closing date of the competition is as specified, and DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to amend the competition’s terms and conditions including the end date at any time.
• This competition runs as follows: The starting date is October 6, 2023, and the closing date is October 12,2023
• Winners will be announced on the VAD pages.
4. By entering this competition, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and that you agree to them.
5. Upon entering this competition, contestants acknowledge and confirm that they are individuals, and not companies or businesses or professional entities.
6. Any insurance and PCR needs required are to be arranged by the competition winner and DCT Abu Dhabi accepts no liability for damage, injury, delays, or any incidents arriving from force majeure and/or Act of God.
7. The competition winner will be selected by DCT Abu Dhabi, and at DCT Abu Dhabi’s sole discretion. The decision of the judges is considered final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Participants waive any right to appeal or criticise the decision of the judges
• The competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or over except employees of DCT Abu Dhabi and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with DCT Abu Dhabi or judging of the competition.
• The winner selection will be based on the best design or randomly
8. The competition winner will be notified by telephone, direct message and/or e-mail. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within five days of notification, DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. DCT Abu Dhabi will provide the selected winners with a prize consisting of:

• Return flight tickets to Abu Dhabi from India
• Four-night hotel stay with breakfast for two at a 5-star hotel in Abu Dhabi
The following terms and conditions apply to the prize:
• No entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter this competition. The prize is only valid and can only be redeemed with prior reservation and is subject to availability time.
• The prize is not transferable.
• The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered
• Prizes are subject to availability and DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
• Winners are allowed to bring a companion of their choice.
10. Participants must follow all steps mentioned in the competition post to be eligible to win.
11. By entering the competition, the winner and other participants agree to participate in this promotional activity and willing to offer the produced material as DCT Abu Dhabi may require.
12. DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. DCT Abu Dhabi may also create rules which will apply to this specific competition only. Amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules will be published on the relevant competition page.
13. DCT Abu Dhabi will endeavour to arrange prize claims within a fortnight after the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.
14. DCT Abu Dhabi is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any participants by any third party connected with this competition.
15. Incomplete personal information, information submitted late, or information that does not comply with the rules set out by DCT Abu Dhabi shall be deemed unacceptable for this competition, and any information provided by participants and all information entered is the property of DCT Abu Dhabi and may not be returned. Participants waive any right to claim otherwise and DCT Abu Dhabi may utilise this data for the purpose of its official work.
16. Should any automated entries be identified, DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to disqualify and/ or block users from the competition.
17. This competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by United Arab Emirates laws and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.
