Blackpool’s rooftops have come alive!
Look out for 10 giant monsters as they take over buildings around the Golden Mile and Town Centre.
Which monster will you find at each spot? Use the map to track them down - there are hints to help you out. They love to be spotted during the day or when they illuminate at night.
Groaner
Can you find them all and complete the ultimate Monster Hunt?
Weather notice
The monsters aren’t fans of high winds so they might go into hiding if it gets too gusty. If the wind picks up, scan the QR code to check for updates before heading out on your hunt.
Beware of Groaner, the fiercest of the rooftop beasts. With a mouthful of razor sharp teeth and a gaze that sees all, Groaner likes to lurk near the flicker of the big screen. Don’t get too close or you might just become its next snack!
Sick Jagger
Get ready to rock ‘n’ roll with Sick Jagger, the grooviest monster in town. Sick Jagger is the life of the monster party with a mouth ready to belt out tunes and eyes that can spot a crowd from miles away. This musical beast might just be found high above a spot where entertainment is in full swing.
Howler
Howler may seem spooky at first glance, but don’t be fooled - this big orange monster is more afraid of you! With all those watchful eyes and a constantly startled expression, Howler is always on edge, ready to leap at the slightest surprise. Give it a friendly wave, but try not to startle it too much!
Invasion
Watch out! This mysterious sea creature is slowly creeping out of the depths. With large, wriggling tentacles, Invasion is on the lookout for a new home by the sea, residing in a place where the lights shine bright. Brave explorers who are up for the challenge should keep their eyes peeled – Invasion is ready to stretch out a tentacle and make its move at any moment!
Bezerker
Eye-Spy
Eye-Spy is a shy monster who loves to hide but never misses a thing. With an extralong neck, the yellow-eyed giant peeps over rooftops to keep a watchful eye on everything happening below. Catch a glimpse of Eye-Spy if you are near a spot where visitors rest their heads and the nightlife comes alive.
This big green monster with devilish horns is known for its temper tantrums. Bezerker can get upset over the smallest things, like the wind blowing the wrong way or the trains rumbling by. If you spot a grumpy monster, it’s probably just Bezerker having one of those days!
Octoplasm
Look out for Octoplasm, the purple wriggling sea creature that’s surfaced from the deep. This playful monster loves floating above the town, guarding the nearby sea creatures. If you’re exploring where ocean wonders gather, you might just spot Octoplasm making waves with its enormous eyes and wobbly purple body.

Nosy Bonk
Ever feel like someone’s listening? Nosy Bonk is a bright pink monster with a huge nose and a funky quiff that you just can’t miss! This curious creature loves to keep an eye (and nose) on all the action happening right in the centre of town. You can say it’s just Nosy Bonk being a little, well, nosy!
This quirky creature loves all things fun, which is why you’ll find Ziggy on the rooftop of a spot dedicated to entertainment. If you feel drawn in, it might be Ziggy’s hypnotic stare. Watch out for this black-and-white beast, you never know what kind of fun you’ll be pulled into!
Chomper
Chomper might have a big, toothy grin that looks a little scary, but don’t worry –this lively monster just loves to gobble up anything that catches its eye. This one-eyed monster has a sweet spot for places where lights flash and arcade games ring out. Can you find Chomper’s favourite hangout?
