Built in the 16th century, this forge still shows traces of the ability of these master forgers to produce farming tools. Open until 1984, since 2001 it has been a museum and represents the first stop for those who come from Brescia to learn about the history and development of the “Iron Route”.
Other than displaying a valuable collection of historic arms, the museum also offers the possibility to learn more about the history of local families and their arms manufacturing traditions. This Franciscan convent was built in mid-15th century. Inside, the church displays large portions covered by frescoes, among which stands out an Our Lady of the Angels (1502). Noteworthy are also the cloister, the Last Supper Room, and Rizzinelli Fund, a collection of about 350 books published between the 16th and 21st centuries.
The goal of this collection is to preserve the objects that represent traditional agriculture and craftsmanship in the area. The collection touches several themes pertaining to rural life. In 2017, the Museum added the section dedicated to dairy production - a centuries-long tradition - in the adjacent Farm House.

MINIERA S. ALOISIO DI COLLIO V.T. (MINE)
CHIESA DI SAN ROCCO (CHURCH)
An active mine for almost two centuries, from 1819 to 1984, it is one of the most interesting sites to understand iron extraction in Trompia Valley. Today, it is possible to visit the abandoned tunnels and also experience speleo-theraphy activities and an adventure trail.
The severe volumes of this church maintain the archaic characteristics typical of Lombard churches built between the 14th and 16th centuries. The roof cornice of the apse with thin Gothic-style terracotta arches is noteworthy. The “Saint” arch is embellished by a prospective fresco attributable to painter Antonio Italiani.
