Germasogeia - A Village Blessed by Water This tour aims to take visitors to the peaceful, picturesque village of Germasogeia 15 minutes away from the beach, to stroll through its narrow streets, see its special architecture, visit its churches, and feel the village life. Water has always been the most important element in the development of Germasogeia. It is bounded by the sea in the south and on its north it has as a physical boundary, the water dam of Germasogeia fed by the river Amathos coming from the mountains of Troodos. The tour also includes a visit to the water dam of Germasogeia. 2. Discover the Natural Environment of Germasogeia This tour aims to discover the nature of Germasogeia. The idea is to walk away from the village to the serene surroundings of the area and enjoy a relaxing stroll wandering the hills of Germasogeia. The participants of the tour will enjoy a ride in the old Bedford bus, which drives partly through an earthen road. They will walk (there is some up hill walking) for more than half an hour along the nature trail of the area off Phinicaria laid out by the Forestry Department and enjoy the magnificent view of the water dam and river. In the winter colourful flowers and shrubs cover the valley. The herbs and wild flowers and tree blossoms give a variety of colours and scents.

PAFOS WALK Every Thursday STROLLING AROUND PAFOS TOWN CENTRE (KTIMA) In an effort to get visitors acquainted with Pafos Town Centre (Ktima), which is the newest part of the city of Pafos as opposed to New Pafos, the ancient Hellenistic and Roman Capital of Cyprus, the Municipality of Pafos would like to invite everyone to visit Pafos Town Centre (Ktima) and get to know this part of Pafos, incorrectly considered as merely a shopping area. The walking tour Strolling around Pafos Town Centre (Ktima) aims to provide an overall picture of Pafos and how Pafos Town Centre evolved and developed from the late Byzantine and Medieval times to what as it was called until recently Κtima. The Pafos Town Centre (Ktima) is associated with the local everyday life of the population. For the Pafians though, Pafos Town Centre (Ktima) has so much more to it…. February 2013 AGIA NAPA WALK - November 2012 to February 2013 Agia Napa and the Sea: A Different Dimension This “walk” interprets the historic connection of the area of Agia Napa with the sea and the recent development of the village. The participants are driven to Cape Greco to walk up to the top of the “tigani” (flat bottomed frying pan) where they will have the chance to learn about the archaeology of the area, its connection with the sea, and get to know its natural beauties. Then they will be driven to Ayii Anargiri, a chapel in the northern part of Cape Greco. After a coffee break, the “walk” continues along the coast to the archaeological site of Makronisos.
