Bħal kull sena għal dan iż-żmien tant mistenni minn bosta, ilMinisteru għal Għawdex u l-Ippjanar huwa impenjat li joffri aktar valur lil dawk li jagħżlu lil Għawdex għall-btala tagħhom. Minkejja ċ-ċokon tal-gżira, l-attivitajiet kulturali ma jaqtgħu xejn ma’ kull rokna tal-gżira.
Il-preservazzjoni u l-promozzjoni tal-identità unika ta’ Għawdex hija l-qofol tal-ħidma tagħna. Dan qed jiġi rifless permezz ta’ kalendarju kuturali vast li preparajna għas-sajf. Kalendarju intiż li jsostni t-talent lokali u li jkun imżewwaq bl-akbar manifestazzjoni kulturali li nsibu f’kull belt u raħal f’Għawdex; il-festa.
Il-preparamenti għas-sajf bdew kmieni fil-Ministeru, partikolarment fid-Direttorat għall-Wirt Kulturali. It-tim tagħna ħadem b’mod diliġenti fuq kalendarju estensiv ta’ avvenimenti għal dan is-sajf. Din l-iskeda hija mimlija b’attivitajiet eċċitanti li għandhom fil-mira li jesponu l-aqwa talent lokali u internazzjonali.

Preserving and promoting Gozo’s unique identity is at the heart of our efforts. We meticulously restore landmarks, revitalize village squares and alleyways, and support cherished traditions like village feasts, ensuring these cultural treasures flourish.
Summer preparations began early at the Ministry, particularly at the Directorate of Cultural Heritage. Our team has diligently crafted an extensive calendar of events for the summer ahead. This schedule is filled with exciting activities that aim to entertain visitors while showcasing the best of local and international talent.

Shake off those Monday blues with a unique vibe in Marsalforn every week from the 1st of July to the 16th of September. Our diverse lineup guarantees an unforgettable experience, no matter your musical taste. All performances kick off at 21:30.
Join us at the stunning St George’s Square or Independence Square at 21:00 on Tuesdays between July 30th and September 17th where a breathtaking backdrop awaits. Prepare to be captivated by a diverse range of talented artists, each bringing a unique musical flavour to the evening.
Unwind every Wednesday from July 3rd to September 18th and experience a vibrant mix of local performers at two stunning locations! Mark your calendars! Xewkija is gearing up for an unforgettable summer experience. Join us every other Saturday, from July 6th to September 7th, for live music under the stars! Starting at 21:00, witness captivating performances by talented bands right in front of the iconic Rotunda.
