Narvikfjellet has some of Norway`s best backcountry terrain. Whether you prefer self-powered or lift-assisted off-piste skiing, are a beginner or an expert, there is something for you in Narvikfjellet. The ski school offers lessons for children, youth, and adults, with different classes for age groups and skill levels. Course durations range from a few hours to several days. Ski and ski touring equipment rentals are available. Fancy exploring the Arctic winter landscape, but rather without skis? Then the guided snowshoeing trips are for you - an activity for everyone who loves to be active in the snow.

Or perhaps a fast-paced guided snow race on sleds is something for you? The cable car carries you up to 659 m, from where you ride four kilometers back down – a fun activity for all. In Narvikfjellet there are something for everyone!

SKI RENTAL NARVIKFJELLET In Narvikfjellet’s ski rental, you can rent state-of-the-art ski and snowboard equipment adapted to your skills and needs. The equipment is freshly ground and prepared - a good starting point for a great skiing experience. LET’S GO SNOW RACING Join us for a fast-paced and fun experience along the mountainroad ”Fjellveien” in Narvikfjellet. The cable car brings you up to the Mountain Restaurant 656 mas. You will then be given a helmet and snow racer before the guide gives you a safety briefing. When everyone has tested the brakes and fastened the helmet firmly under the chin, the smooth descent begins. Set out on the roughly 2 kilometer trail and have fun!

NARVIKFJELLET CABLE CAR The cable car takes you up to the Narvikfjellet Restaurant 656 masl, which is the perfect starting point for skiing, ski touring, northern lights hunting, snowshoeing, and tobogganing in the winter. Enjoy panoramic views of deep fjords, high mountains, the historic ore harbor and Narvik city, which makes the cable car ride an experience in itself. Remember to bring your camera!

THE MOUNTAIN RESTAURANT Visit the restaurant and enjoy a meal with a view! The restaurant is the very heart of Narvikfjellet, and for many the main motivation to visit the mountain. This is also one of the top experiences on "the Narvik Bucket List" and can be nicely combined with the Cable Car transport round trip or hiking up the Mountain road (Fjellveien). Narvikfjellet
