Kommunesenteret Sand ligg idyllisk til i knytepunktet mellom Sands fjorden, Hylsfjorden og Saudafjorden. Blant kvite trehus langs sjøkanten finn du dei lokale nisjebutikkane, daglegvarebutikkane, vinmonopolet, kafeane våre, klatrepark og mykje meir. Faste dagar i månaden er det torgutsal på Torjå i sentrum. I Nord enden av sentrum finn du badestrand og R yfylkemuseet, medan du på L øhaugen finn Kulturhuset i Suldal med kino, bowling, utstillingar, bibliotek og meir. I kort gåavstand frå sentrum finn du ei rekke kjekke opplevingar. På Garaneset finn du Næringsparken med butikkar og kafe, ved Sandsfossen kan du i sommarsesongen besøke villaksen i Laksestudio, og på Eide finn du Suldal sitt store folkebad: Suldal Bad. Det er også mange flotte turnettverk med tett nærleik til kommune senteret. Frå Hellandsnuten får du utsikt over fem fjordar, medan du frå Fiskebergåsen får utsikt over heile Sand. Ved å ta opplevingsløypa «Sand safari» vil du møte personar som levde i strandstaden på 18- og 1900 talet. Turkart får du tak i på visitsuldal. no, ved Suldal turistinformasjon og i enkelte butikkar.

Suldal’s municipal centre is the town of Sand, idyllically located at the inter section of the three fjords; Sandsfjord, Hylsfjord and Saudafjord. Here you will find niche shops, grocery stores, a wine and spirits outlet, our cafés, a climbing park and much more. On certain days, there is a market at “ Torja” in the centre of town. At Nordenden there is a beach and the Ryfylke Museum, while at Løhaugen the Kulturhuset (cultural centre) offers a cinema, bowling, exhibitions, a library and more.
Das Gemeindezentrum Sand b efindet sich in idyllischer Lage am Knotenpunkt der Fjorde Sandsfjord, Hylsfjord und Saudafjord. Hier gibt es lokale Läden, Lebensmittelgeschäfte, das staatliche Weinmonopol, unsere Cafés, den Kletterpark und vieles mehr. An festen Tagen im Monat ist auf dem Torjå im Zentrum Markttag. Am Nordende vom Zentrum befinden sich der Badestrand und das Ryfylke-Museum; in Løhaugen gibt es das Kulturhaus u.a. mit Kino, Bowling, Ausstellungen und der Bibliothek.
The Næringsparken business park is only a short walk from the centre, offering shops and a café. In summer, you can visit wild salmon at the Laksestudio centre at Sandfossen falls, and enjoy a variety of attractions at the Suldal Bad bathing centre. There are also many exciting hiking paths in and around the municipal centre.
Vom Zentrum erreicht man zu Fuß das Gewerbegebiet Næringsparken mit Geschäften und einem Café, den Wasserfall Sandsfossen und das im Sommer geöffnete Laksestudio, von dem man den Wildlachs beobachten kann, sowie das Badeland Suldal Bad. Außerdem gibt es ein weit v erzweigtes Netz von Wanderwegen in u nmittelbarer Nähe des Gemeindezentrums.
