Speaker’s Corner Environmentalists gather for a climate strike at Speaker’s Corner in Tinghúsgarðurin. Elin Sólvør á Løgmansbø, Pól Jóhannus Toftegaard Larsen and Magnus Gaard will be speaking. We will also have a sing-along, paint stones with climate political messages and there will be face painting for kids. The event is organised by Veðurlagslóg NÚ and FNU. 10


17.00 Felagið Tórshavn, Gongubólkurin Stroll along city streets from Hoyvík down to the town centre (Djúpagil, Svartafoss, Plantasjan). The walk will begin at the bus stop Millum Gilja. Bus number 3 leaves Steinatún (south) at 16.36 and will stop Millum Gilja at 16.52. We will start our walk when the bus has arrived. 17.00-19.00 Betri Banki, N. 17.00-20.00 Arctic Commando, Færøerne, Tórshavnar havn The coastguard vessel Vædderen, which is docked in Tórshavnar port, invites everyone to visit. Please note, that this event will be cancelled in case of emergency. 17.00- 20.00 The National Hospital J.C. Svabosgøta 17.00-19.00 Teddy emergency room. Doctors and nurses are ready to receive sick teddies. The children will help diagnose and treat the patient. While you wait you can draw a picture for us, that shows what happens at a hospital. After this we will have an exhibition in the hospital lobby for a few days. Ambulances will be parked in front of the hospital door and children and teddies are welcome to visit them. 17.00-20.00 Exhibition and information in the hospital lobby.

18.00-19.00 Walk the tunnel, War Hospital and Sektiónsstovan. We will start at Eirargarður 13, the administrative building. We will walk through the tunnel below Eirargarðiur and further down J.C. Svabosgøta down to the green building. On our way we will stop to hear about where the War Hospital was to be built during the Cold War. We will then continue down to Sektiónsstovan, where autopsies are usually performed. There will be a brief presentation on the purpose and activity at Sektiónsstovan. The walk is around 1 km long and takes about 20 minutes. 18.00-20.00 Enjoy the view from the roof of the green building. From the lobby you can walk the 164 steps up to the top floor and enjoy the view of the capital from the hospital roof. 17.00-21.00 Føroya Sjósavn, Rættargøta 1, Argir Our oceanarium is open.
