ON SKATEBOARDING THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS YOUR ATTITUDE WITH THE GROUP, WITH THE COMMUNITY, WITH YOUR FRIENDS. EVEN THOUGH IT IS AN INDIVIDUAL SPORT, SKATEBOARDING IS ALL ABOUT THE COMMUNITY, ABOUT THINKING BEYOND YOU AND OF YOUR OWN WILL, OF COURSE, WITHOUT LEAVING YOUR IDENTITY ON THE SIDE, EVER. UNLIKE, HAVING AN IDENTITY IS WHAT MATTERS MOST IN SKATEBOARDING, HAVING YOUR OWN STYLE. EACH PERSON HAS A DIFFERENT SEARCH FOR DIFFERENT GOALS. THE SKATEBOARD HAS THIS POWER TO MAKE PEOPLE SEEK A STRONG IDENTITY, A UNIQUE STYLE BUT COEXISTING AND COLLABORATING WITH OTHER SKATERS THE SAME SEARCH. Some go it by art, others by tricks, others by attitude towards everyday life and work. Which one is right? all! The hardest? All! the most guaranteed? None! In this issue, we team up with the adidas skateboarding staff to bring three different connections to show good examples of that process of having your own identity and collaborating with friends, groups and brands, creating something new but with real energy.

He keeps joking: "So, are you ready? don’t make a shit, turn off your ipod dammit, pay attention!" and as we go along with skateboarding also the relationship is very good. We came to the states almost at the same time, he came some 6 months before me, so he was more local here than me, he was able to make more jokes than me. As I travel a lot with him also doing skateboard photos, the other skaters started to see me and know that I took photos also. When the brands that sponsor Felipe started to use some of mine photos in advertisements and marketing things, other skaters began to trust me more. The fact that Felipe is my brother and being who he is helped me a lot in the process of entering on the market here, but of course if I had not dedicated myself before in photography, I would not have given this indication from my brother at all because he is very professional. curioso.

in a board, and yes, this has connection with several choices that I make when I’m skateboarding. For example if we are on a tour and there are ten skateboarders on a spot filming, my first reaction is to push around the block, and sometimes I find a spot that is not even a spot but so fuck, I appreciate it more, it makes me happier. Those material choices also, how is it? Why did you use many different materials, is there a relationship with this too? It is simply by achievement, I think of something and how I can accomplish that, sometimes what I have close to me already dictates a way of doing, and sometimes I have a very clear idea but I need to look for other ways of do it more than the options that I have close to me, but most of them have the “contact paper”, which is a material I always had in hand and works very well for what I want, the day the skateboarders find out how much this works, it will start to appear a lot of crazy arts on the boards, because it is thin, looks like silk and stays the same. Spray paint also works well. I already made silkscreen as well, which was about the process I wanted to learn, I found the possibilities to make and I used a board as a support to learn the whole process, from the art to the silk screening it on the board, today you have everything
