Getting a tattoo can be a huge decision, one that will be drawn on your body forever. Often the decision to get one can come from a deep emotional place and tattoos are often something deeply meaningful and personal. It's so important that we ' re in the right place mentally to make this grand decision, but also to care for this work of art as we ' re the lifetime canvas of it and will display it with pride.
It's important to understand that your tattoo needs time to breathe, so covering it up with oils all day long isn't the solution. The key is to find the balance between oiling and breathing. We've found that it helps to wash the area, in the morning and before bed, with On Guard Foaming Hand Soap. Also applying Correct X directly on the tattoo helps greatly and a thin layer can also be added on top of your oils before bedtime for that extra protection throughout the night. We've also found applying oils 3 times a day is perfect for the healing process, as they absorb quickly into the skin therefore nourishing it, while also allowing the skin breathing time too, which is the perfect combination for a healthy tattoo.

Add oils to a 10ml roller bottle and top up with fractionated coconut oil.
Apply this roller blend once a day to your tattoo to keep it clean, moisturised and to help promote skin healing. This recipe also works well in a spray bottle so it can be sprayed onto the tattoo instead of rollered, especially if it's tender to touch. In both cases shake well before use.
Add oils to a 10ml roller bottle and top up with fractionated coconut oil.

You can diffuse this blend before and after your tattoo, as it's perfect for both. Diffusing before the big event will help you calm down and collect yourself so you can psych yourself up for it, so try it in the car diffuser on the journey there or before you leave the house. And diffusing it after the ink is done will help calm you down and reduce the adrenaline surging through your veins, giving you time to collect your thoughts and admire your new masterpiece.
