FROM WITHIN... BY VERNA V. NICKELBERRY Can you believe that it is June already! Time is moving so fast! It seem just yesterday is was the beginning of 2022! The world is moving at a speed of light, some time I want to scream into the atmosphere “SLOWDOWN!” You are moving to fast! Not only does it feel as if the world is moving too fast (it seem) but we (mankind) are moving just as fast! We want everything quick, fast, and in a hurry! Not taking time to slow down and enjoy life. I often think to myself, is this the cause of the “Self-Care” movement?
we need to slow down and that care of ourself. That we need to be our own selfcare advocate. That we need to “stop and smell the roses.” One scripture comes to mind, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3John 1:2 I do believe that this scripture say it all!
