MEET WENDY ARELIS FROM KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA

What a joy and honour to be asked to share my story of how God divinely connected me with this wonderful group of faith-filled women! In June of this year, a Woman World Leader and contributing author, Tina Gallo, felt a Holy Spirit-nudge to contact me. She had seen an advertisement searching for a narrator for the audio version of my book. After reading some of my story, she was moved by it and wondered if it was too late to apply. Although the position had been filled, Tina felt that I would be a good fit in this group of overcomers and would be sharing her thoughts with Kimberly. Just days later, I was blessed by a lengthy, encouraging phone call with our dear founder, and before I knew it, I was agreeing to be a contributing author for one of the next two books to be published. In addition to that, she booked a date for a podcast interview with me. It aired on August 2nd. Wow! What favour! The love and support I have received in the past few months have been outstanding. I wrote a chapter describing my journey through cancer and divorce, which is published in Embrace The Journey: Your Path To Spiritual Growth.

Even though many in Women World Leaders live far apart, the love of God is felt and experienced in countless ways. Praise the Lord for technology! I look forward to reading the daily Facebook posts and emailed devotions. Testimonies shared on the podcasts and our regular zoom calls are inspiring. Interacting with other Christian women authors from different states and countries is such a blessing. You are all my tribe. Your love, prayers, and support are precious.

Words cannot express how special and loved I felt when I received my personally wrapped package in the mail. When my order for the three previously published books from WWL was delayed, Kimberly took it upon herself to lovingly write a sweet postcard note, wrap the books in tissue paper, replace one softcover book with a hardcover copy, and add four Voice of Truth magazines. Now that is dedicated love. The articles, photographs, and artwork in the magazines are fantastic! I am enjoying all the encouraging stories so very much and sharing them with friends. Thank you.

My passion is to be an encourager, to teach and lead others to discover their true identity, value, and authority. Prayer and inner healing have become powerful, life-changing ministries.

Sharing the victorious ways God has worked in my life brings me so much joy. My story, like many others, is one of overcoming; overcoming the effects of childhood abuse, fear, illness, a difficult marriage, faith challenges, financial woes, and feeling like a failure at everything. The struggles are real, but our God is a good Father, and He loves us unconditionally. Trust Him. He is faithful.
