The world of specialty coffee is pure diversity! People with numerous cultural backgrounds are working to produce a vast range of specialty coffee lots. The complexity does however not end
once the coffee is shipped from origin. At the final destination yet another culturally diverse crowd is waiting to roast, brew and serve the coffee.
This is why in this issue we have a closer look at the Japanese specialty coffee market to explore how coffee is enjoyed in the land of the rising sun (page 42). We also attempted to simplify the complexity of the various processing methods in our “Wiki” on page 76.
