Jamboree The 7th Annual Volkswagen Jamboree is on again in 2007

SHOW and SHINE, SWAP or DISPLAY

MARCH 25th Caribbean Gardens President’s Report Michael Cronin, VWCV President

The Jamboree is a casual Show and Shine or display, with trophy prizes for all types and conditions of VW’s. There will be a swap meet (Bring ya stuff to sell) and Trade Stands. Lots to do for the kids (rides etc. at your own cost), and the shopaholics with a huge undercover market on site. Food on sale at the kiosk or BYO BBQ or picnic in the grounds (BBQ’s are provided free), you can even bring your fishing rod to maybe catch your lunch in the lake. This is a fun and easy day, so come on down and look at some cool and classic VW’s, while you shop a little, eat a little, talk VW’s alot and relax. VENUE: Caribbean Gardens, Ferntree Gully Road, Scoresby.

Entry $2.50 Adults $1 Kids. No other fees on the day!

Well done John for organizing the trip and all is looking good as he seems to have the weather worked out as well. By the time you receive your newsletter Kennett River will be over but don’t forget the Jamboree at the end of the month, it will be held at Caribbean Gardens as usual, VWCV will be there with a club stand so come and say hello, (especially if you are a new member).
