Tennessee and UAB are meeting for the fourth time since 1998, with the Vols owning a 3-0 series edge. UT won the most recent game 35-3 in 2008. Tennessee is coming off a 31-17 loss to the previously 10th-ranked Florida Gators at Neyland Stadium and has a chance to even its record at 2-2. UAB earned a wild 34-33 victory against Troy, courtesy of a last-play 44-yard touchdown reception by Jackie Williams.

Four UT receivers had at least 40 yards against Florida, led by freshman Justin Hunter’s 60 yards.

Senior Nick Reveiz had his second consecutive game of at least 10 tackles, finishing with 14 and a fumble recovery against the Gators.
