Tennessee and UAB are meeting for the fourth time since 1998, with the Vols owning a 3-0 series edge. UT won the most recent game 35-3 in 2008. Tennessee is coming off a 31-17 loss to the previously 10th-ranked Florida Gators at Neyland Stadium and has a chance to even its record at 2-2. UAB earned a wild 34-33 victory against Troy, courtesy of a last-play 44-yard touchdown reception by Jackie Williams.
