Mr Giovanni Campagnoli – expert of youth work: reactivation of abandoned and disused spaces. Is there a link between Youth Work and Labour Market? Cristina Tajani: Innovation to Inclusion. Policies for new idea of citizenship. Young People protagonist in the city.

Developing youth competences meets the challenges of inclusion in society and labour market! Youth work can contribute to the employability of young people, but it is not just a tool of employment policy!

We have chosen experiences of innovation or testing of animation youth in the Metropolitan City of Milan and some others European Municipalities. The idea is to find some points to be able to use in working groups. Facilitators will guide the discussion. The speech have to provide evidence of the contents of the space/project, what are the aims, which method they use, what outcome/output have been achieved, which evaluation system, etc. The presentation stimulates discussion on fallowing questions: what have you done to improve youth participation? Have you a system of validation of competences acquired by young people? What are the connections you have with the labour market? etc. WORKSHOPS

(based on innovative practicies)

Task: Every group will identify maximum 3 policy suggestions related the themes of the groups for the final report. YOUTH WORK AND LABOUR MARKET

WS 1. Theme: NON-FORMAL AND INFORMAL LEARNING BASED ON CREATIVITY

Developing and promoting youth work as an approach to implement active learning. Examples of innovative approach based on promoting creativity and youth initiative. Youth is a period of many transitions such as moving from dependence on parents/family to autonomy. Youth work offers opportunity and support in transition from education and training to life, citizenship and the labour market. WS 3. Theme: FROM LEISURE ACTIVITIES TO COMPETENCES IN LIFE AND LABOUR.

Co-working spaces as a tool also for youth worker.

A strategy to promote youth work on national level. Overview of the Italian youth work - some examples from ANG - the experiences of MeetYoungCities and ComuneMenteGiovane. Use of public spaces by promoting the Youth Initiative 17.30 – 19.00 - Link to Reality - Link To Labour

When promoting creativity crosses the labor market, training, non-formal and formal education, volunteering, etc.

Examples of ideas/startup presented and running directly by Young Entrepreneurs (from italy and some others european countries): projects from MeeetYoungCities, ComuneMenteGiovane, Piani Giovani Regione Lombardia, others european experiences. To be define/invite who! (we have to share the cretiria) - (15 minutes for each group who will present their ideas connected to job market).
