speakers: the first part of the research congress was with Ms. Kristine Manalo who tackled Qualitative Research. Honestly she was a very good speaker and amazingly effective. She used a bingo card as the illustration and demo for us how to gather data by searching a co-students as our respondents and the bingo card as our questionnaire which made the students enjoy the beginning of the program. The small game has it great prize, a journal. There are only 2 winners, which is the two who finished the game first, they are Camila Miranda from ABM and Jhoanna Mateo from HUMSS. After receiving their prize, Ms. Manalo asked them how it was, is it easy or difficult to gather data? They said that they made it first because they just consult the most closer to them. It was followed by Mr. Froilan Mobo which discussed Quantitative, he is also a good speaker with calm voice. He also tackled the search engines that was brought out by a question of student. Mr. Dennis Sumaway which tackled the most important thing to remember when doing a research, the Ethics and Plagiarism in Research.

Afternoon Session

After the given lunch time, in exactly 1pm, the afternoon session started, it was writing an Abstract

with

Ms. Arlene Dave that made the student wonder how to construct an Abstract. Ms. Dave discussed the importance and guidelines in writing an abstract. She also answered and responded to the questions of the students, willingly. It was followed by the presentation of Abstract of Grade 12 students. The Grade 12 presenters came from different strands, presenters from

Humanities and Social Sciences, Accountancy and Business Management, Information and Computer Technology, and General Academic Strand which became a way to choose who are/is the best presenter. Every presenters used power point presentation and delivered their abstract effectively. However there are some presenters who stand out and some who did not. The afternoon session was ended by Mr. Amrah Phil Solano's “Sulating pananaliksik. which is the Filipino version of Research. Mr. Solano also used illustrations, some images or what we called Optical Illusion, to determine the character of each students that made the students more interested and alive during the discussion. At the every end of discussion question and answer portion took place, which gladly answered by the speakers. And last part was Mr. Frederick Dato as the Emcee, the giving of certificate to the speakers, Grade 12 presenters and the Grade 11 participants.
