This has reference to the requirements of the K to 12 Program of the Department of Education to promote the success of students by providing them the opportunity to achieve competency in the core disciplines of Local Guiding Services, and encouraging them to obtain practical experience through internship and on-the-job training. We recognize that maintaining strong relationships through internship provides our students with a wide variety of activities that offer exposure to the current application of appropriate tools and techniques at work.

In this regard, we are requesting your reputable company to accommodate MR/MS. ______________________________________________, a Technical Vocational Livelihood – Home Economics/Academics student of our school as an intern. This student is required to complete the minimum but not limited to 80 training hours. We believe that your company can assist our students to gain more knowledge and skills and optimize their potential for their future work. Our Teacher-in-Charge will coordinate with you from time to time to find out how the student trainee performs in the working area. Attached herewith is the acceptance form which we request to be accomplished and returned to this office upon acceptance of our student in you company. The training will start immediately upon acceptance of the bearer under the terms and conditions as stipulated in a duly accomplished memorandum of agreement for your confirmation. One of the goals of the K to 12 Basic Education Program is to develop in learners the competencies, work ethic, and values relevant to pursuing further education and / or joining the world of work. To achieve greater congruence between basic education and the nation’s development targets, Work Immersion, a required subject in Senior High School has been incorporated into the curriculum. This subject will provide learners with opportunities: 1. To become familiar with the work place; 2. For employment simulation; and 3. To apply their competencies in areas of specialization/applied subjects in authentic work environments. To achieve the above objectives, Work Immersion is thus a requirement for graduation from secondary education. Learners are immersed in actual work environments such as workshops offices and laboratories in which their prior training is relevant. (DepEd Order No.30, s.20170)
