Be sure to visit this family-friendly, educational show featuring work by forty-six artists who have participated in the Recology artist in residence program, creating astounding upcycled art from materials found at the San Francisco recycling center.
This exhibition memorializes the City of Walnut Creek’s signature Valley Oak, which was sadly destroyed during a massive windstorm in October 2019. The show features artwork made from the wood of the 325-year-old tree, giving the old giant a second life. All work is by artists living in the local community and the broader Bay Area.
