Works in all neighborhoods and in all areas In 2019, the Barueri City Hall, through the Department of Works, concluded important buildings that improved the life of the city in several areas. Other works were accelerated and will be delivered in 2020, such as Praça das Artes, Sports Complex of Jardim Silveira, Specialties Center, Emergency Service in Jardim Mutinga, UBS and Housing Complex in Engenho Novo, Community Center in Jardim Florida, Cras do Jardim Silveira and several schools. There is also the Youth Park, in Chácaras Marco, which has the bidding process for contracting the work in progress. Along with the Linear Park (4.5 km long between the neighborhood and Vila Porto), the project already has an urban design and landscaping and comprises 120 thousand square meters, including urban beach and wet playground. Among the completed works, some in each area stand out: in health, the Diagnostics Center, New Hemodialysis Center, Institute of Basic and Advanced Care in Jardim Paulista, UBS in Vale do Sol, UBS in Jardim Maria Helena and three buildings for the Caps. In security, the City Hall built the base for the Military Police Battalion in Jardim Paulista. In education, the City Hall invested in the construction and general renovation of several schools. In February, the Fieb unit in Aldeia da Serra was delivered, and in 2020 the schools in Aldeia, Parque Imperial and Jardim Maria Helena will be ready. The reconstructions of Emef Leandro Pimentel, in Jardim Silveira and Emei in Jardim Reginalice, as well as more maternal constructions were also started.

2019 was also marked by the release for traffic of the Viaduto sobre Araguaia, the inauguration of the state’s most modern Forum and the transformation of various areas into leisure squares such as Vila Porto, Jardim Belval and Jardim Audir.
Barueri well looked after The municipality of Barueri, through the Municipal Services Secretariat (SSM) and its Urban Services Coordination (CSU), totaled 568,197 jobs carried out in the period from January to December 2019 - more than double in relation to the previous year. The investment made to make Barueri increasingly well looked after is perceived by the population. And the record number refers to services such as maintenance, road conservation, landscaping in squares and flowerbeds, cleaning in public areas and leisure squares, revitalizing debris spots, mowing and weeding, grass pruning and tree planting. SSM is responsible for signaling services, ditches, wolf ’s mouth, small works, cleaning the stream, riverside and riparian forest; water supply, assembly of stands for events and urban cleaning (collection of rubble, paraphernalia, waste from green areas, organic waste; hospital collection of recyclables and leachate; collection from schools, squares and UBSs). The Urban Services Coordination, on the other hand, performs masonry, electrical, plumbing, metalwork, roofing, painting, carpentry and removal of unserviceable goods. It is also responsible for the cemetery and municipal wake and for the work in the municipal schools of the network, where 592 services were performed during the year.
