A
ll free-thinking fashionistas would agree that what’s safe is also most often, tortuously boring. Life’s too brief to party in those ‘done to death’ sheaths and dreary LBDs. On Day 2 of HT City Print Fashion Week, we bring you inspiration that’s not meant for the fashion novice. Inspired by the vivacity of New York, fashion designer Namrata Joshipura’s collection Concrete Garden re-imagines sporty luxe in a sexy, flamboyant avatar. Perfect for the self-inspired woman, the range features lively, fun garments such as jumpsuits, sheer maxis with jackets and thigh-high slit dresses. Interspersed with playful cuts, cheerful florals and sequin, it’s a great pick for a fairytale honeymoon or a wedding cocktail party.
