As we wrap Season 2 of HT City Print Fashion Week, we present designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil’s collection that reinvents romanticism with a bold and strong twist. “It’s about fierce romanticism. It raises a toast to the independent woman who celebrates romance by wearing colours of power such as plum and emerald and not peaches and cream,” says designer Nikhil Mehra. Livened up with rich gold embroidery, the collection features ruffled gowns, dresses teamed with chic jackets and capes in red, emerald green, and dark plum. The garments for men are replete with military aesthetics. Jodhpuri jackets, flared pants, and asymmetric kurtas evoke valour. CONCEPT & STYLING:
