Wondering how to pay for your fast-track training? Below are resources to help you finance training your next career move. Michigan Works! Michigan Works! provides training dollars through the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding. To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen and registered with Selective Service (if applicable) to receive services under the adult program. Priority is given to those on public assistance, with low income or those who need basic skills. Training may be available to eligible employed as well as unemployed adults. Visit your local Michigan Works! agency online to learn how to access funds for training.
Private Loans Financial institutions such as banks, credit unions and others may offer private loans to pay for training. If you are considering a private loan to pay for your training, you are encouraged to thoroughly research prospective lenders and their terms prior to applying for a private loan. Class Drop/Refund Policy: Drops are accepted up to the start of the first class. No refunds are given, for any reason, once the class starts. Mandatory fees will only be refunded if a class is dropped at least 72 hours prior to the start of the first class.
