BIO: When Coco Ho qualified for the World Surf League Women’s World Tour at age 17, she was the youngest woman ever to qualify — and she finished her rookie year ranked No. 4. Since then Coco has worked diligently to further build on what is now already an award-studded surf career. She has repeatedly been voted as a top fan favorite in Surfer Magazine’s Surfer Poll, and has an extensive fan base. Coco began surfing at the age of seven, and earned her first sponsorship at the age of eight. Because she comes from a long family line of professional male surfers, she is regarded as the heiress to a surfing legacy. Admirably, she aims to inspire other girls to break through barriers and pursue their passions. She uses her social platforms to send out messages of courage and confidence to motivate her female fans. While the competition drives her spirit, Coco embraces a sense of ease that is exhibited throughout her surfing style. “When I surf, I keep things natural and graceful and never try to force anything.” Her persistent positivity and progressive style appeal to just about everyone, and they make her a perfect role model for modern women’s surfing.
