DRAFTING / CAD I GRADES 9‐12 This course is designed to introduce the student to drafting as a graphic language. Emphasis will be placed upon the elements within the language such as proper line work, lettering, dimensioning and measurement. Students will be exposed to two‐dimensional drawing, Orthographic Projection, Isometric Projection, and will explore drafting techniques on a CAD system. The class will be taught from a hands‐on, problem solving approach utilizing both the drafting machine and the computer as a communication tool.
