COMPUTER SCIENCE GRADES 9‐12 In this course, students can acquire a fundamental understanding of the operation of computers and computer networks, and create programs implementing simple algorithms. The development of useful computer programs and program modules is used as a context for introducing other important concepts in computer science, including the development and use of fundamental data structures, computer applications, and insight into the design of the human/computer interface. Exposure to career possibilities and discussion of ethical issues relating to computers will also be important threads in this course.
