Requirements for Graduation
Candidates for a baccalaureate degree must complete a minimum of 124 credits hours including their major field of study. In addition, each candidate must have earned a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 and a 2.00 grade point average in the declared major and minor fields of study. Departmental progression and graduation policies must also be followed. Students must earn a minimum of 45 credits at the University through on–campus instruction. This must include 12 hours of upper-level (i.e., 300and 400-level) courses in the department of the declared major. Not less than 18 of the last 30 semester hours of college work must be completed on the Waynesburg campus. Although academic advisors and the Office of the Registrar assist students in course selection and registration, it is the responsibility of each student to see that he or she fulfills all degree requirements.
