XR LEARNING & TRAINING Waynesburg University was recently awarded a $2.5M grant from EON Reality, Inc., to fund implementation of virtual and augmented reality (XR) experiences. The grant provides faculty with the tools necessary to build XR learning experiences for students across a host of disciplines. Through a generous gift, Waynesburg Athletics has also taken the lead in VR training, with 25 virtual reality headsets that allow student-athletes in soccer, baseball, softball, football, tennis and golf to train at an elite level, regardless of weather conditions.
