1. Apply for admission. Apply online for free at waynesburg.edu/apply.

In addition to the ranking by U.S. News and World Report, Waynesburg University’s undergraduate tuition and fees rank in the bottom quarter of private colleges throughout the country.

2. Receive an admission decision. If you are accepted and qualify for an Achievement Award (academic scholarship), the amount of the award will be included in your acceptance letter. 3. Explore additional scholarship opportunities. If you are a first-time freshman student who has applied and been accepted for admission by Nov. 1, you may be eligible to apply for these additional awards. For more information, visit scholarships.waynesburg.edu. 4. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov beginning Oct. 1. If you are a Pennsylvania resident, you will need to complete the FAFSA before May 1 to qualify for state grant funds. Waynesburg University’s school code is 003391. 5. Review your Financial Aid Offer. Once an accepted student’s completed FAFSA is received by Waynesburg University, the Office of Financial Aid will send out a Financial Aid Notification detailing the student’s financial aid eligibility. 6. Research and apply for outside scholarships. Websites like fastweb.com have a vast database of community, civic and church-related awards. 7. Questions? This per year cost for a resident student is more than $11,000 below the national average for private, non-profit four-year colleges. Monthly Payment Plan Waynesburg University is pleased to offer the convenience of a monthly payment plan. This is an interest-free payment plan that provides students and their families with a low-cost option for budgeting tuition costs for the full academic year. ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS Awarded within an acceptance letter, these academic scholarships are based on a combination of the applicant’s cumulative high school GPA and SAT or ACT score. (Waynesburg University utilizes Evidence-Based Reading & Writing and Math sections of the SAT.)

Scholarship amounts shown above are the maximum amount that a student can receive in each scholarship level. Students who do not reside in University housing will receive a reduced award. Out-of-state students who receive an Achievement Award also qualify for our State Scholarship, worth an additional $3,000/year. *All of the above scholarships are renewable for four consecutive years at Waynesburg University main campus or until a bachelor’s degree is achieved (whichever comes first), as long as the student maintains requirements set forth in the academic catalog of his or her incoming freshman year.
