Each year, Waynesburg University offers short-term study abroad opportunities for students. These oneweek to 10-day programs occur during spring break or in May. Destinations include Greece, England, Ireland, Spain, and Italy.

Waynesburg University educates students to make connections between faith, learning and serving so that they might faithfully transform their communities and the world. As a Christian comprehensive University, we strive to inspire and challenge every undergraduate and graduate student to a life of leadership and purpose for the glory of God. One of the many ways you can explore the links between faith, service and learning is by studying abroad for a semester. As a Waynesburg University student immersed in another country, you can embark on a great adventure while still connected to Waynesburg’s supportive atmosphere.

No interest in traveling internationally? No worries! Waynesburg University offers several domestic study away opportunities where students can explore their major area of study or complete an academic internship while they travel! We have programs in Denver, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Nashville, and Lake Tahoe.

The Vira I. Heinz Scholarship for Women in Global Leadership provides opportunities to at least three Waynesburg University women who have never traveled internationally. It grants annual foreign travel experiences through an established charitable foundation. Scholarship recipients receive $5,000 to put toward the cost of their international travel experience.
